This was our second match in this ladder against our mates from -PrimeTeam- in the last 2 weeks and it was a very tough one.

We started in Assault and lost the first round, where Gohan almost made the last objective before the time limit. The second and the third were lost, but in the next two following rounds we manage to win and in the last round of this part we didn’t manage to break their defense in objective A.

After a nice score in the first-half, we started badly in defense by losing the first round. The second was won and the next one lost, and so we couldn’t lose any more rounds in order to take this match to overtime. And that was what happened, we managed to win the following three rounds and we went to OT in SF Dockside.

In OT we started in Assault West, both teams made a rush throw north, south and also to the roof of the building and we manage to win it by killing all.

Today’s match was against our Portuguese mates that we haven’t played with for quite some time now.
We started in Assault and managed to win the first two rounds, but the following two rounds were lost. In the fifth round we manage to win and in the final round of this first part we lost our advantage.

After a bad result in Assault, we went to Defense and made some nice tries, but the proof that we were in a bad day was the four consecutive rounds that we lost, which added to our bad performance in the first part, resulted in a loss for us in this match.

Today we made another match against our old mates from Poland in this oldschool map.
We started in Assault and won the first round, the second was lost and in the third with a 2-to-1 advantage situation we lost the round. The remaining rounds of this part were also lost.

In Defense we made a good start by winning the first round, but we made some bad moves and lost the second. The third round was won, but in the next one we didn’t manage to win. Vox was left alone in a 1-to-1 situation near the bathroom door, but failed to survive when there was a bit less than 30 seconds to end the round.

Playing against our mates from Belgium we actually a made good start in Assault by winning the first round, but the following rounds of this part were lost. We tried to attack throw the bridge and throw the other side, but we didn’t manage to win another round.

In Defense Debian joined in and we started with a win after containing their attack made throw both sides, but lost the two following rounds. They made a couple of good attacks throw the bridge, empowering almost all players throw that bridge and we didn’t manage to stop it.

In today’s match we had a good start in Ambush by winning the two first rounds. Then they made some good moves and manage to win their first round.
The fourth was won and the next one lost, which made things more equal and raised the ´pressure` to our side, but we managed to win the last round of this part and therefore keeping up that advantage of two rounds.

In Escort we made a better job and managed to win three consecutive rounds. They made a compacted defense around objective B, but we managed to break it with some good teamwork.

Well after an August of vacation and a lot of people away, we are on September and back in action.

The map was HQ Raid and bugz ´O reservas`, blade, shaca and debian faced ferlito, cocaine, heroine and bigz. Everything a good match need.

In the first round we started on Assault side, they were doing a very defensive strats and we lost it, along with the next two rounds, being the second our best try. After this we did some crazy rush and had an early kill and then we manage to get the round by killing all of them. In the next round we did a more ´waiting` strat and manage once again to kill them all. The following two rounds they won.

We swapped to Defense and did a camping tactic at first, waiting and killing. They tried to advance for all the ways, but they never were able to get a round. We did a good job today by wining all rounds on Defense, doing an 8-4 score.

Well, this one we won with a ´reservas` guy.

We started in Assault against five players and won the first round, where we made objective A. In the next round I made an ace with credits for the whole team that made a good teamwork. The third, fourth and fifth rounds where also won and the final round of this part was lost.

In Defense and still playing against five players we manage to win the first two rounds and therefore winning this match.

We started on Defense and nothing much to say except shaca that killed 2 with 1 sniper shoot, and the two first rounds they didnt event touch da xixa but on 3rd round something went wrong, bad enemy reports and we lost it, loosing one round on def in MP SE can be really really bad, but well after all we won five rounds.

Moving to Assault we started with a kinda rush tactic and it almost worked, but we couldnt finish it.
On the second round they killed us fast and clear, but after that we won two rounds in a row bringing the victory home and in the last two rounds they won one and us the other.

Starting in Csar Assault we tried leaving the Pilot for last, they rushed one or two players to South and this way killing always one or more from us.
We had a close rounds near the pilot and still managed to attack one round by North and almost win the round but skillz and time weren't enough.
Their Defense was tight and so we only managed to win one round with an awesome teamwork.

Going to Defense we decided to rush some rounds and stay back on the others, it worked great, also a few close rounds but we always took the last enemy and so giving us a 6-4.

After getting two rounds ahead in the first map, we went to MOUT where we started in Loyalty.
The first round was won with a successfully attack to both objectives that our opponent was holding and the next four rounds were lost. We made some nice tries and almost won one or two of those rounds.

The second-half 'story' was identical to the first one with the defending team losing a round and winning the other rounds. We started badly, but manage to tie the score in this map, therefore winning this match and a 'ticket' to the semi-finals.

Overall score: 11-9

Mountain Pass, a great map that we dont get to play everyday, even more when its a 6x6 with sniper available :P
Starting in Defense we had an easy job with shaca sniping almost all enemys making a quick 6-0 for us.

Goin to Assault we made a few subs but things got a little harder, they had a good AR spam and good sniper that made it difficult to attack them all together.
At the end it was 6-6 and so we moved to OT in Mout Mckenna.

Mout with a nice teamwork from all gave us the final victory.

On the 3rd round they managed to get a 4th player in and because of that...we won another round :P no, seriously they started to play better and got the next 2 rounds.
We won the last Defense round making it 4-2 which didnt seem a very good result for me at that moment...
On Assault things started pretty bad since we got the objective on the 'bad' spot.
We lost the 1st, won the 2nd round and then b!6 'sacated' from the 'xits' and got his moment of glory with an ace on 3rd round and the 2 last kills on the 4th round.
With the match won we just played for the fun of it and in the end... 8-4, PTwars wins!!!111

It was kinda like a Spam Festival, nades flying everywhere, it kinda looked cool as a fun scrim but no, it was a 6x6 TWL match.
First half we couldn't do better than a 2-4, they played better, going for objectives while he tried to just kill them, even so we failed while trying to do that.
Second half, we took more attention to objectives and yes, we played better but wasn't enough, many mistakes from us that they took advantage to them.
We should had played as a team and not each one for himself, only wanting to kill them all, so by the last round when it was 5-6 to them and we had a chance to go Overtime we failed again.
They were better, even so this map shouldn't be on this ladder...

Next three rounds were really important but we only won two giving the other to utopia.

Today we played for the first spot of this Ladder in a map that was recently added to the maplist of this competition. Also we had the “luck” of playing it in a Polish server with a high ping.
We started in Bravo and made a good round followed by another win and the third round was lost. The next ones were very close rounds with both teams attacking and defending well their positions. Most of the battle was made in the middle, Alpha’s spawn zone and near it.

Half-time score: 4-2

This second part was played in Bravo and started badly for us. We lost the two first rounds of this part and after it we won three in a row, therefore winning the match.
The match had some very tight battles, with us not giving them any chance of getting ahead in the score, being that tie of 4-4 the closest they got.

Usually when we end a match, people start asking ''who can make a report for this match?''...after this we have 10 seconds of silence followed by ''player left''.
Well today i gave a step forward, and i offered myself to make this report.
The match started...ON OUR MATCHCOMMS!!! As assaulting team we posted our ip (QG, yes QG!!!) and our opponents told us that if the server was ''ok'' we would play there.
Everyone bitch about our PT server, cant understand why but forget it...but what came next was new to me.
We all joined our QG server and they had an average around 15 ping. We had around 18-20.
We were ready to play when i see a message on my screen saying ''one of our players have packet loss here, join our server.''..We were like ''wtf?''
So when we play on PT server, people bitch about the ping...when we go on QG, its bad because it has packet loss...if we go on our opponent server, we have bad pings and packet loss but thats PT internet fault.
I just have one word for this...''LOL'' (its not even a words but who cares?).
So ok, we joined their server and i speak for myself when i say that i already had lost my interest for this match...but when we thought that we could be more surprised, some one from HFD say something like
''now its fine, no one have packet lose and all players have the same pings''...i pressed F1 and i concluded that i needed an oftolm...opthalmologic...ah fuck, an eyes doctor xD.
They had average 8 ping and we were 20 plus...i loled again, which was lol number 352 and the match haven't even started yet...
After this we thought, fukk this and lets play the match here...this was when we noticed we had only four players on the server. This is ok for a 4v4 match, but for a 6v6 on village...I have to be honest,
HFD were nice about this, they waited like 15 minutes for us to get more two players on the server...after all that fuzz i wouldn't wait that much for my opponents :P
So our first superstar to arrive was...(ill now to this TVI FOOTBALL ANNOUNCER STYLE)...Bugz!!! He is 18 years old, he have 25 ints for PTWars and he just got home from beach. Still with sand in is body he
tried to join the server, but wait, he doesn't have CDC!!! (GJ BUGZ)...After installing CDC he joined the server, but wait, he needs to DOWNLOAD VILLAGE...great, Bugz got benched and our superstar number 2
was Exit (this one had all ok with the cdc and stuff but you don't know how hard was for us to make him stop watching Disney Kids )...
Meanwhile, Big left for cinema and Gohan left for a quick dinner so we needed more SUPERSTARS!!! Superstar number 3 was Ji...he joined the server and PTWars will have to pay Ji for that one and half hour that
he wasn't playing WoW (Ji lost 10K exp, 204 mana, 1 gold plate toothbrush and a free trip to Lanzarote or whatever). Last one to join was Debian and about this guy i wont say anything since he is my boss
around here so...

OK...tonight we played Village against HFD (for those who haven't figured it out yet...Duh!) and we started on Assault.
Since this is a bit defense sided on 6v6 we tried our best to win 1 round. I don't remember all the rounds and to be honest i dont want to but i know we won 1 assault round and we could have won at least 1
more. On Defense we played five great rounds, none of the ''tocate the chichate'' but in the last round our brains left the server and we lost the round.
So we played OT on Mout and here the most funniest thing happened...we were Loy side and our strat was to wait a bit to see if could get some kills and in the end, push for one of the objs...
Funny thing was that when we were on ''wait mode'', THEIR SERVER LAGGED (oh noes, wtf? PT server?) for at least 60 seconds...but not for Debian, lol, when the server was back, Debian killed one, Gohan got
another pick and we all started attack everything that moved...and we won the match!!!111oneeleven

Props to my team especially to Ji that played Mout without sound and we forgot about him on the tunnels (we should have told him when to attack and we all forgot :P).

Then we lost again with some good shots when they killed Vip near Obj. A.
After this we won the rest of the rounds in Escort.

In Ambush not much to say with two guys in Obj. B, one pressing A and the other covering our backs we lost two rounds with a bit of lucky for them.

Week 5 against an Old Finish Clan without any loss at Cal this season so we did train fearing them.
Starting in Assault, we noticed they used a tactic like ours so they had to have the same flaws, we just needed to try taking advantage of them.
Still we lost the first four rounds with two good occasions to win, one when i was the last one against their rpg (after i team kill Blade ) that was on B objective but a dumb move and we lost it and another when again i team killed shaca (really sorry guys, my rpg was on fire last night, but for the wrong team ^^).
Fifth round, Blade, Debian and shaca rushed them at Central and with some smoke and nades to distract they killed them quickly and we won the round.
Lost another and on the final round, again with a fine rush and on the last ten seconds in a situation 1v1 between nooz and Debian (Debian saying at TS ''i'm going to bled to death...'') he jumped and fired killing him on C and so another round for us.
2-5 for us and now going to Defense we needed to stay focus and win at least six rounds.
We used their/our tactic but being more aggressive in Central, while we would fall back if needed, honestly think we were more successful with this tactic than they were, and the final result after a few close rounds was 9-5 for us winning all seven rounds at Defense.

Great game guys, see you soon (Nooz ).

Today we played Urpot Legendat or Urban Legends like they are known.
The map was swamp raid with a lot of frogs and noise to help us, we start on Defense side.
First two rounds it was easy, we won both without major casualties, but then we start playing bad and we loose four rounds in a row without event notice that.
We were having a bad day on Defense after a good start, goods shots from them and bad reports from us.

Going Assault we know it wont be easy to win five rounds against a invite clan, we started going fast in the left, and we won, then we rush right and we won again, match was tied and we see our hope coming to us again, we had four rounds to finish it, we won more two but loose other two and with a feeling of a bad done duty (dever mal feito) we went to OT in MMK knowing we could had over it on swamp.

We subbed Cloud for Blade and it was time to start in Honor, Debian killed one with spam but they still rushed C down and B and killed me and shaca, so Debian and Blade against three enemy's, Debian on B and Blade on upper C, won the round to PTwars with Debian killing two of them and dying (excellent work waiting for Blade at B) and Blade killing the last on on B.

Playing in an oldschool map against experienced players, we made a good start in Assault by winning the first two rounds. One of them was a close one were shaca made the objective in the building’s basement, just when an enemy was approaching the door’s corner to kill him and also when he was just about too bled out. The next rounds were distributed with two wins for each team, one win and one loss, another win and another loss.

In the second-half we won the first, lost the second, were they did a good job attacking the basement objective, and then we won the next two rounds. One was won by defending another attack to the basement objective and the last by successfully defending the top PC.

(2008-05-30)
Map: JRTC Farm

Score: PTwars [ 11 - 1 ] =PAF=
Lineup: Blade, Bugz, Debian, Cloud, Rullz, shaca

We start on Defense, but they only had four, so we rushed to corn camp the all six rounds to see who get killed first.
So we did 6-0
We changed to Assault and rushed west house, bugz killed three, shaca killed the last one and we made 7-0.
We kept rushing middle and west until 9-0 when they finally got six, so we won two rounds playing nice and slow, but lost the last one getting killed one by one..

CAL-AA Euro Main Season 5
PTwars vs -116th-
(2008-05-29)
Map: Dusk

Score: PTwars [ 9 - 5 ] -116th-
Lineup: Blade, Bugz, Debian, shaca

CAL’s fourth week was played in Dusk and we faced an old clan that is known by everyone that has been ‘around’ the AA scene for the last years.

We made a good start in Ambush by winning the first round. The other six rounds were a replay of the first one, but with them mostly attacking throw north. There were a couple good tries made by them; the first was on the third round, when they managed to get an advantage of 3 vs 2 and then Debian killed the VIP; the second was on the fourth round, on which we killed three of them and vice-versa, and after this Debian killed VIP once again.

In Escort we made another good start by winning this first round and therefore winning this match. The second and third rounds were lost, but the next was won and after this we lost the remaining three rounds.

The day after our CAL game in Border, we meet another clan again in this map.
Started in Defense with some problems with Bugz and Rullz, both loosing internet connection and substituting each other.
They rushed well attacking the objective when there were only one or two of us and winning three rounds from us.
We changed to Assault, expecting to win at least three rounds also but wasn't that easy, they had a great team play and nice aim, always killing us at the last minute.
We did had some opportunities but at the end wasn't enough to win the rounds and so final score 5-7 for them.

PTwars vs Artifice
(2008-05-22)
Map: Border

Score: PTwars [ 6 - 8 ] Artifice
Lineup: b!6, Blade, Debian, shaca

Today we faced Team Artifice.
We played Border and i have to hi5 CAL admins, only such competent admins can make us play Border with 5 min...props nigas!!!111
Anyway, this wasn't why we lost the match, since it was the same time for both teams, i just wanted to mention this.
We started on assault and honestly the ain't much to say here.
We started to play a couple of rounds slowly but we just got picked 1 by 1 or just have no time to take obj home.
So we gear up our jet packs and started rushing which wasn't so good since our team play was something like Benficas game play this season.
We had only one or two chances but in the key moment we just failed.
On half time we were losing 7-0.
We needed 7 perfect rounds to take the match to OT.
On the first 3 rounds we were very conservative and we took those 3 rounds.
On the 4th rounds they made a great push and we just got picked by a couple of good shots.
After this the pressure was off since we already lost and we just cruise to the end of the match.
They played a very good match but i have to say this was more a bad day from us than a good day from our opponent.

Nothing is lost and next week will be better
Final result 6-8

Map: SF Sandstorm

Score: PTwars [ 7 - 1 ] }K-B{ & }RoA{
Lineup: Bugz, b!6, Debian, Gohan, Rullz (Cloud), shaca

We started on West (Assault), going really slow, two Defending A, two near North and the other two going near Central, this way we were able to kill two of them and then rush doing the three objectives.
Second round we tried to attack a little more at North, with the confusion we did the Central Objective and North after, 2-0 for us.
Game was too slow so we decided to leave rush them going four to South and they did the same thing and took us by surprise without a chance.
Next round we tried again the same thing, this time they rushed North and started attacking on our backs, but this tactic allowed us to win Central and while defending it we killed them all and so 3-1 for us.
Players from both teams had a Critical, so we discarded the round. After with a nice rush to Central we killed them all.
Last round on West, they defended more aggressive killing four of ours, one tk onother of them and with a little luck shaca and b!6 killed the other five and winning it, 5-1.

On Defense (East), they took the all round time, and i really mean the all time because they only attacked us on the last minute and still one of them hide from us on the last seconds but since we had two objectives we won.
Rullz internet connection was always going down during live rounds to at the third time we had to sub him, Cloud joined for him.
We just needed another round, they rushed Central but we were able to manage and stop their attack killing all.

7-1 for PT, GG guys.

This time we were facing an old friend, PTranger.
We started on Defense were we won all the rounds with no problem except one where PTranger were a bit unlucky.

Second half, Assault now.
On the first round we pressured C, where they were defending, while one guy rushed to A and B and made the obj, then we all attacked C finishing in a situation 1vs1, blade killed him but died bleeding to death lol.
The next round we attacked B, but they were defending A, we weren't able to win the round.
Third round attacking C again, on a situation 1x2 we still managed to win the round and so win the game.

PTwars vs Destiny
(2008-05-15)
Map: Urban Assault

Score: PTwars [ 6 - 4 ] Destiny
Lineup: Debian, shaca, Gohan, blade

Playing for CAL’s second week in Urban Assault, against a new clan with good experienced players, we started in East. First round was easily won with zero casualties and the second was lost, because we didn’t manage to defend our objective. The third was a tie with both teams holding one objective till the end of the round. After the fourth round, that was a replay of the first one with a lot of kills and no loses, one of their members just left and they wrote that he wouldn’t return. Also they didn’t have any substitutes, so we played against three players till the end of the match.
We won the fifth round, then the next one ended up tied with the last players alive from both teams defending their objective, and the last round of this part was won.

In the second part we went to the West side and tied the first round. In the next round all of their players were killed and we lost the two following rounds. The fifth round ended with another tie; in the next one we eliminated all of their players and the last round was won.

Final score: 6-4-4

(2008-05-14)
Map: SF Arctic

Score: PTwars [ 7 - 5 ] .error.
Lineup: Debian, Gohan, shaca, blade

Today’s match was against an oldschool clan that we faced many times in the past. We were defending the first spot in this defense-sided map and we started in Defense.
Our opponent mostly attacked throw north during the first part. South was also an option in one of the rounds and the middle road area was mostly used by only one of them. Despite of their efforts, we managed to win all the rounds on this side. The close they were to win a round was when they manage to eliminate three of ours and lost in a ‘1vs1’ situation.

After this predictable score in the first part we went to Assault and managed to won at least one round. The first three rounds of this second part were lost after some nice tries. On the fourth round we made a very good attack with a nice teamwork and won it. On the next final rounds we made a couple of rushes, but lost it.

Tonight we played Weapons Cache SE a very defense sided map.
Starting on defense we decided to cover objective B and it resulted in a good decision, they had lots of difficulties to enter.
In the 4th and 5th rounds they broke our defence and we did some bad moves that costed the match IMO, but in our last round on defense we focused and managed to win it.
We ended 1st half winning 4-2.
On assault...not much to say, we just managed to win one more round. Sad
They defended pretty well the objective C with one man at B,they were always spamming nades and i must to say that our teamwork was not the best this night!

First sorry the report delay but is was been a really busy week.
So last Saturday we played against another PT clan, one of the current Top EU clans.
They were defending the 6x6 1st place and the random map chosen was SF PCR.
On this map everything can happen, but it depends a lot on each round spawn.
They did have some luck on spawns but even so they were on a superior level, more organized inside the house and around the map.
Final score was 8-4 for Showtime, but we sure will meet again on another date, another map

Score: PTwars [ 9 - 5 ] .newGen-
Lineup: Debian, Ji, shaca, Gohan

Playing for CAL's first match day we were up against New Generation, a team that is considered to be a good upcoming team, facing them on MOUT we didn't knew what to expect of them since we lost a match on SF Sandstorm and they played really well, but as this is a league match we actually prepared and we were ready for it.

Starting in honor, they always attacked with two minutes left and that was good for us, we managed to control the 3 first rounds quite well, but they played good and won 1 round, we won another and then again they won one more leaving us in a difficult position, but then we secured the last round.

Swapping to loyalty we took it easy and lost the first round, we decided it was time to step it up and start putting some pressure on them and we managed to make some good team play and won 2 rounds in a row, due to some minor mistakes and them defending well we lost one more and then the final strike in the match was ours securing the victory round, loosing one more round and winning the last one.

Lineup: blade, shaca, Ji, bugz (Debian)

Today we played against our old time mates from Poland, Majestic Clan. They were defending the first spot of this ladder and they had chosen Defense first for side choice.
On the first round the objective was outside and we manage to do it quickly and the same happens in the second round. The next two rounds were lost while trying to accomplish the objective that was once again outside. On the fifth round the objective was inside the building and we lost it after an unsuccessful attempt to ‘gain’ it. On the sixth, with the objective inside again, we managed to get inside and killed them all.

On Defense the ‘story’ was almost the same as the one from the first part of this match. The objective was located outside the building on many rounds.
We started winning, then they took the lead in the score, by winning two consecutive rounds, then we took the lead and finally they managed to tie the match.

Dockside was the overtime map for this match and it only took one round to find the winner. We started on the eastern side of the map and with a good teamwork, we managed to win it.

Today we faced Mortiferus.
Bridge SE was the map and it was my 1st match in a 6v6 since...i cant even remember. So yes, i was very excited to see my old friend M24 Very Happy
We started on assault...the 1st round was very intense since both teams were having casualties until we had a 1v1 situation on which Jeromeskee run like a lady to the obj.
We lost the next round, were we had no chance at all but we managed to win the 3 round with good teamplay. We lost 4th round and exit had to leave, so we played 5th round with 5 played...
If its difficult with 6, with 5 we had no chance. Acid joined for 6th round were our team was picked with quite a pace and our dumb sniper was 1 men short to make an ace and win the round.
So on half time we were losing 4-2 which seemed a good result.
On our 1st Defence round we made some bad moves and decisions but Ji in a 1v1 situation won the round for us.
The remaining rounds we focused and it was a walk in the park till the end.

We won 7-4...GGs

Today we faced [GROM]...the map, MOUT McKenna!
We started on HONOR, and we wanted to try some new ideas we had...some were good, others not really Razz
In the first rounds they made some good moves and used some good smoke and we were down 1 by 1.
But in the remaning 5 rounds we focused a bit and we start playing what we know...and of course, we had Ji, using something (it was the Bacalhau, if you ask me).
We ended 1st half winning 5-1.
On 2nd half we wanted to end the match asap, so no more Sr. Pardal tactics, and we won the next 2 rounds with some pace.
With the match won, we tryed some wierd starts to see if they work and the result was winning 2 rounds and loosing other 2.
In the end we did a OK match, but we need to do best for CAL.
Final score 9-3

After all this mess we started in defense, covering the objective outside, we pressed them hard, the main action was in south where they had like 4/5 players attacking us.We lost two rounds one with them killing us all and the other they made the objective.
Changing sides we decided to attack with 3 players south and the other 3 north. With alot of smokes near objective and then a big frags rain we made some damage's, rushing obj we won the first round.
They started to spam nades and rushing us, we had some troubles but with good coordination from all we managed to make a final score: 7-5 for us!

We started at ass and we won the first round with no problems 1 of them killed himself with a nade and the other 3 we managed to kill them 1 by 1.
2nd round they were again defending primary objective but we were unable to win due to a lack of coordination.
Last for 4 rounds at ass not much to say, we win other 2 rounds they won the other 2, some rounds they had 1 guy defending near secondary to delay our attack to primary and he successfully done that some rounds killing 1 of us and making a little hard to attack with 3 guys primary.
At defense we only had to win 4 rounds. Defending at terciary in the 1st round with 3 guys and ji staying at secondary to surprise them we were able to take them down with no problems with some good shots by ji.
The last 3 we defended a little like pub style and we rushed for SR, main and north giving them no chance of getting in.

Well, this was third continued time that we had played MOUT McKenna in this Ladder and we “won it without ‘spines’“.
Starting in Honor we won the first and second rounds by securing two objectives till the end of it and with them using the attacking tactic near the time limit that is most common in ‘2/3 objectives to win’ maps.
The third round was won by completing all objectives and on the fourth they attacked Blue with two soldiers, a bit sooner than usual, without success and the other two, which were in objective A’s building, attacked the Church when there was about ten seconds to end and we manage killing them.
In the next round we contained a two man rush to Blue and the remaining soldiers were killed near the end.
On the last round they attacked randomly and we managed to kill them all.

After a perfect game play in the first part, we started the second with the same spirit and we made a rush that resulted in a win for us.

Facing the snBcr dinosaur, the map was SF Courtyard, random spawns which makes it hard to play on either sides.

We started defense and won two rounds in a row, covering the obj well not giving them much chances.
They got favored by the obj. spawn and took the 3rd round.
We got the fourth round by defending it well, they got the fifth with B!6 dieing vs 2, NT there.
We ended defense by winning the last one.

Swapping to assault we subbed B!6, Rullz joined the server, we started carefully all going together but separated (lol),
but it didn't went well.
After that we pushed the tempo and won the remaining rounds with some good teamwork by Blade and Debian entering the hardest obj. to assault.
Final result was 7-3, Blade had to leave so we didn't played the remaining rounds.

In the 3th round we replaced Blade for Debian and didn´t change our tactic, we lost this round by a matter of seconds.
4th round they attacked us pretty well with some good nades and doing all the objectives, so i tried rush tunnels to do Alpha and it didn't went well but server crashed
With this issue resolved both teams agreed to restart the round but we lost it
We focus on this one to tie the match and Ji just aced them! GJ Ji.
On Loyalty we didn't won any round, they rushed us all rounds and we started to have internet problems, server crashed again and with only 4 players we decided to give them the last round.

We started on loyalty, and we were confident.
First round , Ji tried to pass by their spamm and he was able to go to upper C without any problems.
That was the begin of Ji Show on Mout Mckenna, we just rushed them to C and B and kill them one by one in all rounds, with Ji doing like 13-0 in 6 rounds.
After 6-0 on loyalty, we moved to honor and Ji keep killing them all, and all rounds except one, where me and debian against 4, debian aced them.
With the result on 10-0 they left the server.
GGs Carpathian's Hawks, hope to see you on other map.

Finally a map we like, ts full with members to play, it was going to be a good match.
And it was, but for them... We even started nice, rushing and killing them all on the first round.
After there was a lack of coordination from us, we didn't scrimed the map with so many members, we weren't ready. No matter what tactic we tried they were always better, working in groups of two, after he killed one, his m8 would come on our back and avenge him, or even camp the all round on some obscure corner near the objective and as soon we were distracted... boom... he would kill three of us.

I can only say they did a good game and i promise we will meet again but more prepared.

Today we faced a Polish clan that is known by all, our side was Defense (but error didn't understood that at begin... ).
Talking about the match, first round we were surprised by a wtf crazy rush and all got killed really fast, second round the same, they rushed and we died fast.
One more time (i start thinking what could be wrong with us on first rounds of each match, are we sleeping? We must fix this... ).
Loosing two rounds on WT against a good clan, we knew that could be hard to get back on Assault side, but knew also that we couldn't loose more rounds on Defense, and so we wake up and won the 3rd round without major casualties, 4th round was again no problem for us.
On 5th round i got tk'd really soon (in part my fault), and we weren't able to stop their rush again, on 6th round we won without problems.

Going to Assault side, we subbed Cloud and Debian for Blade and Ji, with an really hard task to win at least three rounds on Assault it could be done but wasn't easy.
1st round we tried it slow and low but we weren't able to win, 2nd round the same, we weren't able to kill them or do obj, on the 3rd round things turned on a 180º spin and we won three round in a row, really good job team!
On the last round i found my self alone against three of them, but lack of bullets and aim was the ingredients for loosing it.

Now we had to play OT (we felt like winning three round wasn't bad, and now we had to win this war) on SF DockSide.
We start on the worst side, Blade tried to climb to roof, but he get killed, then it was time to Gohan show, he killed three enemy's and Ji killed the last on.
It was done, we bring another win home, good game guys and nice match error, cya on other map, another day.

We faced a real strong clan again in Mout
Starting at Loyalty, we tried to defend Charlie and Bravo, but wasn’t easy because enemy had a great spam that left us always yellow or red.
Lost four rounds, won the fifth with a nice rush of B!6 to A on the tunnel.
Last round we tried the same but opponent was already expecting it.

Swapping side, with the team ready to start they lost one member that needed to leave.
We tried do our best but again an awesome spam from the opponent that made more difficult do try doing something to change the result.
They won another but on the 8th round Bugz alone did an amazing job with an Ace and making it the 2-6.
However even playing with three they were stronger and won the last.

Nice game and nice try...

Attacking the 1st place, against a clan know by some as Bear Force.
We started on Honor, me and Bugz were having some Packet Loss issues on their QG server (crappy pt isp's) and so we blocked trying to enter Charlie, enemy spammed and killed us both, Blade and Gohan against four still managed to win that round.
Enemy won the next and on the third Blade was again alone against two and while they tried to rush Charlie to kill him, Blade rushed on tunnel to A doing the last round and giving us the round win.
They were always rushing us and won the remaining rounds, some of us weren't on our better days, gotta give merit to the enemy too or course, but we usually would do better and just two rounds on honor.

Moving to Loyalty they kept rushing us, now to the Church and to Gray, we weren't able to stop them and so after three rounds win for them the game was over.
GG .bf (we will meet again ^^)

TWL Euro Obj 6v6 Ladder
PTwars vs -mX2.
(2008-04-08 )
Maps: SF Hospital/Urban Assault

Score: PTwars [ 7 - 6 ] -mX2.
Lineup: B!6, Blade (Cloud), Bugz, Debian (Exit), Gohan, Rullz

We started on Ambush and on the very first round all six players got killed by the same guy, nice job.
Second round, they continued to kill one by one, but Bugz against five was able to kill one and then the Vip.
Next round we kinda wake up and did a nice round, but ended when Debian had to Fix Jam while Vip was running to obj right in front of him.
4th round, Big did the important part of the job killing three last guys including the Vip.
We felt like, that was more like PTwars are used to play, and not what we were doing on the firsts rounds...
Next round, was for mx2 again, when in 3vs3 situation we couldn't avoid Vip reaching Helipad.
Last round, we really needed to win it to do a 3-3 score, which isn't good at ambush, but on a 6vs6 ladder it's a bit different, still we did a clean job killing all six mx2 without any one of us dieing.

Swapping sides, Blade had to leave so we started playing 5 vs 6.
We lost our last Hospital war and some of us think it was because we were to careful, so we decided we needed to change, as Gohan said "TEMOS DE SER AGRESSIVOS, PARTI-LOS TODOS AO MESMO TEMPO".
Following Gohan tactic, we just rushed them as fast and strong as we could, with one less player.
Our first Escort round, Gohan killed four of them, Big as Vip (and I must say he did an amazing job) killed one and Debian another.
Second round on Escort, we did rushed again but this time Vip got killed by one of them coming from hospital, we know that if we had 6, that round would be ours.
The following round, was almost the same, but this time was 2nd Floor Hospital Door, enemy killed Vip, with score 6-4 we knew we couldn't loose more rounds, and well that was our main intention.
5th we were able to clean Helipad and secure Vip till he finished the objective, nice teamwork.
Last round, Debian had to leave to work so we rushed as crazy, and killing three of them but all our player were killed Big in a 2vs1 situation being Vip, was able to give two really nice hs's, GJ BIG.

To notice that we played with one less all Escort side, but on last round enemy took one of them out to play on 5vs5 situation and that was a mark of sportsmanship that we won't forget.
So it was OT time in Urban. As a side note Gohan did a great work on Escort, killing eleven enemy's on that side.

At OT we managed get two more players, Exit and Cloud for a fair 6x6.
East side, round started and we managed to take two of them and they killed one, we pressed West but we lost another of us, we were able to kill one more but both teams didn't attack until the end of the round.
Moved to West after a tie and for moments we thought that we were going 2 loose because only Rullz was alive against three of them, but Rullz was inside of West objective, surrounded by all, one of them made a team kill and Rullz killed another, few seconds left but the last decided to let time run and tie.
Back to East we were more aggressive and managing to take them down one by one, Rullz got inside West and did the objective when only two from mx2 were alive.

Really GG till the last second and ty for your sportsmanship.

Today we faced Just For Fun in farm, a clan that i think we never played before so we dind't knew what to expect from this guys.
We start in defense, nothing much to say about defense because we easily won all rounds but got to say that duality was really inspired in most of the rounds he was the man that was killing them all.
At ass things got really hard but we already knew that was going to happen.
In our first round we attacked from our left side and we almost managed to win the round but their were well organised.
The next rounds we knew that we had to be more agressive near the objective but time was against us and most of the rounds we dind't had time to do the objective or kill them because most of the rounds was a situation of 1 man agaisn't 3 and that was really hard in a map that is defense sided.
Last round at ass and score was 6-5 to us and we dindn't wanted to go to OT so we focused and we played as a team, we were able to take them down 1 by 1 and we successfully won the match.
GG.

First time against VTS, a known Spanish clan.
We started in Ambush, all very quiet until they started to press North, Duality did a tk then got killed, B!6 and Bugz alone couldn't stop them so we lost the first.
Not much to say about the following 5 rounds that we successfully won, but Bugz was inspired
At Escort Blade replaced Bugz and we lost the first two, after some internet problems and discards we won the 3rd with a great job from B!6 and our Vip Blade.
Lost the 4th, won the 5th and lost the last one too. 7-5 for PTwars

Today we started Weapons Cache Se on Defense.
We were defending the Obj A and B and we started by loosing this round, three of us died with nades, so we have to say, good nades Wanna Scrim.
After that round we focused a bit more and we won easily that round, next round we decide to try Tertiary camp but didn't worked that good, the all team got killed.
After that round and loosing 2-1, we did a re-think on ours strategies and so we won the next three rounds without major casualties.
Swapping to assault, they were defending Obj C, we did A and B without any problems but while trying to do C we got picked one by one by their nades and shoots.
This happen three rounds in a row, but next round Debian rushed SR and picked one there, then we did A and B and tried to enter C slow, we pushed from all sides, Debian killed two more on C and last one was killed by Blade while Bugz was doing the objective.
Two more rounds to try winning the game but well, things didn't went as we would like and so while trying to force C we always got killed with nades and shoots, we could enter the complex but never able to kill more than two of them...

Some bad moves and wrong decisions decided the match against us tonight, as well as being a little unlucky in some moments.

Started on defense, where winning 3 and giving away 3 rounds started to look like a loss more and more due to some bad decisions made by me and ofc, zee lags.

On assault we managed to win 2 and we should had taken advantage of at least 1/2 more rounds that would had given us the tie or even the win, but it didnt happened, not tonight.

All in all, it wasn't that bad, taking in mind most of our roster wasn't available for such a late night match, forcing me to spec retri and output my max dps...wasn't good enough, cause everyone knows retri palas suck.

Tonight we played against TPS a clan that we had played before and in spite of the good result we did we knew that we had to focus.
We started in escort and Gohan was the vip, we did C and A obj but then we had some problems making B and vip died.
Second round all rushed B except vip and we won that round with no problems, 3rd 4th and 5th and 6th where ours also with some good shots from B!6, Pix and rullz that did a hell of a good job 2 keep the vip out of trouble and 2 clear the way.
Gj guys !
At half vidocq replaced B!6.
First round at ambush Pix killed vip in the first minutes with no problems, second round they did a really good rush 2 B and killed vidocq rullz and afterwards pix, leaving Gohan alone against 4 but he killed them all, after this round they all left except =Highflyr= that explained 2 us why they left.
Final Score 11-1 and PTwars are going 2 the Playoffs.

We started in assault and we won the first round with no problems, after that things got a little complicated, their rpg catched us from behind and killed 2 of us complicating things a little bit and we were unable to win that round.
Third round we were more carefull but we were unable again 2 win the round they defended the pilot pretty well, 4th round and we really had 2 win it, after some fight's near pilot 1 of them killed the pilot and we won that round, we won the 5th round and we lost the 6th.
At defense we were all near pilot, and we were able to win the first 4 round's, we lost the 5th after a good rush from opfor that manage to go clear all the way to pilot with no problem's, we focused on the last round and we won it.
Final Score 8-4.

Everybody knows it's a good map for ties but we did need a win so we started in Assault playing against 3 players (dunno what happen, they just wanted to start the game and the player joined on the fourth round). Going first to A and C leaving B to the end all rounds, but in the first one they surprised us with very good shots killing our team on B.
The round time wasn't too much so we needed to be more quick, we rushed objectives leaving the remain time for the B obj and against only three players we managed to win the second and third round.
On fourth round their other player joined and created some complications for us, at the end they won that round but we still managed to win the last.
So 4-2 to us and the vantage of going to Defense now.
We did the same all rounds, the four rushed outside, trying to slow them and killing one or two before they could enter the tunnels but with a good 203 aim from Gohan and help from the team we made it possible to kill them always before that. Final score 10-2

We started in defense and in the first round we defended the primary, after 3 minutes they started to attack primary and we where a little surprised by their good rush, they killed three of us but during the fight gohan killed two and then alone against other two he finished them.
Second round we where more careful and we stop their attack with no problems, we won the 3rd round the 4th and in the 5th we had some problems first vidocq crashed and we where only three and then shooter died attempting 2 surprise them in secondary, only two against four but we where able to defend primary well and we won that round, really good job!
We won the last round with no problems.
Now on assault we only had to win one round and we did it at the first round attacking with a good job from all team, they won the other two rounds and we won the rest of the rounds.
Final Score 10-2.

On defense we expected having an easy job stopping them. Guess we were wrong, mostly at our own fault having some bad luck and a bad day for our players we were far from our level in other wars/scrims. We lost the first four rounds without much to say, they did the valves one by one.
At fifth round we finally won blowing them up trying to go prim. Defense score 5-1.
Assault and we knew we had a mission impossible in hands, we rush oil, main, oil.. always rushing and we were able to win 2 rounds.
Final score 3-9, hopefully next war we have some luck on our side.

Starting this war we hadnt practiced much but we were good enough to play it.
1st round we had one hell of a start when they spawned right next to us killing 2 of us, only me managing to run for the roof, we lost that round.
2nd Round Was an Ace for me reaching the roof quickly and manging to kill all the opfor.
3rd round we got to the roof but got killed, leaving only Grim and Gohan in the roof fighting 2 vs 2 we lost that round as they got them cornered inside the vertical stair section.
4th Round we started next to them at west and we managed to survive the inicial blast, in the end Grim was alone got the objective but was shot in the roof while trying to get down to make the OBJ.
5th Round AGAIN!! spawned next to us, gota love these spawns!! we got inside the building on a 2 vs 2 situation i ran for the OBJ took it ran to roof and came down scoring it.
6th Round was a total mess with a damn rocket bug and we got split up trying to go around the building, we were picked up 1 by 1.
Score was 4-2 at half-time Gohan got out for Rullz and we were thinking there wasnt much else we could do, except keep playing and wish for good spawns.
1st round we were fast to the roof and made OBJ without any big problems.
2nd round we managed to kill 3 of them leaving only the opfor that had the OBJ and Xutre and Rullz covering the streets from the corners of the roof, he didnt move neither did we, GJ! round was tied noone won.
3rd Round started GAIN! next to us we manged to kill 3 of them, inside the bldg i got OBJ and made the roof street thing to escape, round won.
4th Round again we were very fast to the roof killed them all only lost 1.
5th round Even faster , we went roof killed them all pining their last one on the outside of a roof corner 3 on 1 with flashes and attacking him he didnt last long.
6th ROund AGAIN close spwn round was over in 15 seconds , nade here nade there we all died they had 1 left!! hehe ... damn map!
GG SIN and good sporstmanship, thx for a good and exciting game.

They said "we have 100% more than u" im not good at math, but a person with "2 dedos de testa" see's that is ridiculous because they had only more 30 ping than us, so u really should read something like this .
The match started we dind't had any prob's in the first 3 rounds, they attacked pretty well in the 4th round with lots of smoke and they won that round.
We won the 5th round and they got the last 1.
At half we were winning 4-2.

Facing a top EU clan that played in the invite, we did a good match.
We started the match in assault and i killed 3 opfors 1 of them with spam and the 4th opfor bled, 1-0 for us, in the second round we attacked pretty well 2 and we won the 2nd round. Then things got a little complicated and we lost 4 rounds.
At half score was 4-2 for FTC.
At defense shooter and enslaver replaced rambo and ex!t.
We won the first 4 rounds at defense, got to say grim did a really good job on the 4th killing 3 of them. We lost the 5th and we won the 6th.
GG.

This match started before the day that was supposed to start, since it started already in the match comms, with them complaining about "shitty pt servers", we were defending so, our server.
They joined the server with only 4 players because they dind't had more and guess what ? we forgot to turn off multiplayer cheats because we were practicing some 203's, so they whined about it a thing that only takes 1 minute to turn off so they said " server has a bad configuration we play on ours since it passed already 10 minutes ", we went to their server they took like 5 min to join and then a 5 player from their team join, this makes me think that they where making time to get another player, but we are not whiners and we dind't say a word.
The match started, we divided the team half heli half hosp, we won the first 3 rounds killing their vip easily, but then we lost the 4 won the 5th and lost the last round on ambush.
We started in escort winning 4-2.
We knew that in escort was going to be really hard even if they had only 5 players they only need to kill the right guy to win the round.
The second half started we won the first round with no problems but then they won the 2nd, 3rd and 4th round, we won the 5th round and they won the last won.
And OT once again.
At the OT falco came to replace cloud, we started in west but things dind't work so well and we lost the match.
GG Fighters from teh Future, you are really good players but with a huge lack of fair play.

Today we had a great match facing Partisans and Friends.
We started on Assault and lost three consecutive rounds. After that we managed to focus a little bit more and we won the 4th round eliminating all opfors with a good job by cloud that alone killed the last 3 that where covering objective C.
We lost the last 2 rounds and the score at the break was 1-5.
At defense we knew that we had to be perfect to win all rounds.
In the first round i killed 3 opfors with 1 rocket, the last 1 was killed by cloud.
We won rounds 2,3 and lost the 4th, but got 2 say cloud did a wonderful job, alone against 3 he almost won the round but he dindt had enough bullets for the last guy.
We won the last 2 rounds and its time for OT.
At urban we played at west and we did a really good job killing them 1 by 1 without any casualties
Final score 7-6.

We switched to ambush losing 1-5 and we knew this was going 2 be hard.
On the first round on ambush they killed their on vip, second we stopped their rush coming from north, we lost round 3, we won the 4 and we lost the other 2, making the final score 4-8.

We changed to loyalty and we only had to win 2 rounds the first round we won with no problem at all, in the second round in loyalty we won the match with some good shot's by rullz killing them all on B.

First of all got to say 1 thing this was a hell of a match and Imo pretty well played by both teams that tried all they could to win the match.
We started on assault making a rush in the left side but they had a good defense and we lost the round, we tried all types of attack only in 2 rounds we were able to get in the defense zone but only with rullz left the 2 times against 3 and it was impossible 2 make the objective.
At defense we knew that we had to win all rounds and we did it, they rushed their left side several times but only in the final round they reached our defense zone, and with only 20 seconds left and both teams had 1 alive they gone to objective, but enslaver stopped him at the right time shooting at the objective making the opfor to stop and when he tried 2 make the objective again the time was over.
In the OT b!6 replaced gohan for dockside, both teams Imo deserved the vitory they played pretty well, but only 1 could win and showtime won the match in the OT.
GG and i hope we meet again and we can repeat a match like this !

On ambush we knew that we had to win all rounds, but we only managed to win 4, they had a organised attack and a really good vip.

Against one of the Top Semi-Pro teams in a Map well known where ain't all about skills but being able to "see further" than the enemy.
We started Assault killing three of them while the objective was done.
The next rounds we weren't able to win any, they showed us why they are a good team.
No matter if we rushed or went slow, they always killed us.
We went to Defense, two players defending North and other two on South, they attacked too with half team South and the other North.
We weren't able to stop them the first rounds and only after losing the game by 1-8 we started playing more calm.
Tried our best, was only enough for 4-10.

Second game for HTGN, we scrimmed a lot against good teams but on the war day we "lost" two of those players because some problems with a Portuguese ISP.

We started with three players going obj. B and the other to obj. C, unhappily wasn't good enough and we lost the two first rounds.
We had to change our tactics and since we only needed two of the three objectives to win we sent two players to obj. A and two to B.
It worked well since they weren't expecting us and so we did it till the 6th round.
That's when we noticed the server was changing sides after 6 rounds and not 7 as it should be.
We said sorry for our mistake and after a little discussion we both agreed to play till the end of the twelve rounds and then play the remaining two, one on each side.
We continued playing and at the end we were with same rounds 7-7 so we went to Over Time (Urban Assault).
OT was quick, we won the four rounds, two on each side but it wasn't easy.

GG -cg- and sorry for the server bad configuration.

First week in HTGN Semi-Pro, where we must the the worst team in the group still we will try to do our best
We started in Assault, forcing the North side, it worked but only on the first when they were defending behind on the objective, after that they started going more offensive and we couldn't do better than a 2-5 for us.
Nightkill had to leave and De@th replaced him, his first war for us and he did his best.
We tried to defend round back at the objective and another more aggressive trying to stop them at the beginning, but besides the ping difference (wasn't that much, they had around 35 and we 110 but on cqb was enough to feel the difference), they were killing us most the time from long range without we even seeing them.

Good shot's and good skill's from this PL team, we did our best a final 4-10, maybe better luck for us next time.

GG and we will meet again soon

Once again Pipeline but tonight we faced a great team with very good players.
Started on assault with Vidocq, b!6, Nightkill and Dragon, we decided to rush the oil entrance while the main entrace had smoke, it was a perfect choise, while Vidocq made the primary the rest of the members got in the main pump room to protect Vidocq and trying to get the PC, even flashed vidocq finished the primary while Nightkill sneaked to the CP and so we won the round.
The second round started with two CE and we had substitute b!6 with Molotov.
The next rounds we tried to get inside with two members on the main entrance, one on secondary entrance and the last one getting the exterior to help later on tunnels, this didn't work well and we lost 2 rounds.
Hopping to change something and get better results we changed a little the tactic and so our AR went from main entrance to help entering on secondary, this worked but they closed very well in the main pump room and we weren't able to get close to the primary. Result was 1-5 on assault but with great hope and expectations to the defense.

Changing to defense we knew we couldn't lose so we made a very defensive tactic in 1st round, everything went fine and the score was 2-5.
The second round we choose to play a little more aggressive but we failed and we lost that round, now with 2-6 we couldn't fail anymore...
We won the next two rounds without major difficulties but in the 5th round we lost again losing the match.
Last round, everything was lost so we rushed, they rushed and... lol and the final score was 4-8

Final result 7-0, without them ever getting inside the building.

Not that good game, first they took 2 days to report the loss and then they reported 7-5, whatever... we will see you on the battlefield...

Defending our position, another first time clan against us.

Defense first side, we covered both right and left flanks and that was enough to win 6-0.

Went to assault, Vidocq left the server, and we rushed them on our left, lots of smokes and after 2m they were all dead. After this the game was won, they remained on the server and we started playing for fun, rush right, rush middle. They were more concentrate on the game and so still managed to win 3 rounds to us.

We started on Escort, Vidocq was our V.I.P. rushing to A while we went to B and C cleaning the area. After the first round win we decided to just rush B and then go after the enemy, result = 6-0.

Saxas and Ksafoda entered the server to continue the match. We rushed the 3 objectives killing the enemy in A, they decided to continue but after we rushed them again they just left the server.

PTwars vs [-Gecko-]
(2007-02-28 )

Score: PTwars [ 7 - 1 ] [-Gecko-]
Lineup: Dragon Eyes, Nightkill, Trunks, Vidocq (b!6)

After a long time without reports we feel strong enough for going back to competitions, we are now on TWL 6x6 too and we will be doing reports again.

We started in defense with an aggressive tactic, which we used in all rounds, in first round they made one rush north with three enemy's so we decided to fall back defending main pump, with Dragon to kill the first enemy in prim with a good shot after that Trunks with three 203 finished killing the remaining enemy's.
In 2º round same tactic, they decided to attack the prim with Vidocq killing first enemy and after that Trunks flashed three and finished it killing the three.
Starting 3º round enemy decided to attack another time the north, we fall back to defend main pump and after they made the ext and sec valves, they attacked with two in prim, one in the corridor of main and another one in vent, dragon killed one in prim after that Nightkill killed enemy in vent and Trunks finished killing the remaining two opf4.
All seems fine but Nightkill dies defending main so we fall back, enemy made the valves and then they attacked prim with three guys there and the other one on west entrance, Dragon and Vidocq killed two guys on prim but after that the guys on west entrance rushed killing Vidocq, the other op4 was making the prim and so we lost the round (3-1 for us).
On the 5º round everything was easy, they died fast without any casualties for us.
Last round on defence, Gecko decides to rush north again and Trunks kills two of them, a minute later Dragon & Nightkill won the round killing the other two, so 5-1 for us on defence.

With a not bad result on defence we went to assault with Vidocq giving his spot to b!6.
So the first round starts, we went really slow to see how they were going to defend.
We made the first two valves then attacking prim with two guys, there was one on vent and other on main corridor, so with a coordinated rush to main pump Trunks died letting Nightkill kill one of them, but he dies too, at the same time Dragon was making CP and b!6 prim, we finished winning the round doing the prim.
Last round we made a rush to oil with only Trunks on main, Nightkill dies and Dragon kills that enemy after that Dragon dies with b!6 managing to kill one but still dying, now with a situation 2vs1 Trunks kill the guy at prim and with a nice nade at 3rd floor blows the last enemy making the 7-1 for PTwars.

It was a pleasure play with you Gecko.

The Final

Weapons Cache SE is a very good map for a 6x6 final.
We choose defense first, with the third objective in mind, we based our defense there, they weren't able to enter there for three rounds, the fourth they managed to kill us all and win the round, the same on the last defense round.
Was time for the half break.
I left the server and entered Pacman, Nightkill left too for Vidocq, now on assault our major objective was to find right at the beginning witch objective they were defending. We weren't able to do a very good job attacking, or maybe they were the ones defending too god.
So we lost the first five rounds, giving them the win, only after that, after the pressure was gone we started playing more clear, so in the last round at the final Vidocq gave us another round win.
Snbcr proved they are one of the greatest Portuguese teams, they have players together now for about three years, good sportsmanship and it was a pleasure to play against such a great team.
They scrimmed a lot, they were better so they deserved the gold. which you guys luck now on TWL Inter, proving Portugal have great teams, except some "high" clans of course ^^

The moment all teams think about when they join any League is always get to the final and win, and we won but the silver medal :P

Since we lost some of our major players, they wanted to create a more competitive clan, Blade and Debian after leaving promised they would still finish the CB with the remaining players.
But we must admit we are right now a friends/fun clan more than a competitive one, so now we are working in keeping that friendship, so others players don't leave, working every day so we can learn every player capabilities and maybe then, one day we will go back to real competition.
For that and more we decided other players should be on the final too, they helped us getting all the way to the final so they deserved it.

Wanna thank all players that started CB with us and also all that finished it, all clans that scrimmed with us (we known ain't easy to get 6 players to scrim).

ClanBase AA:Operations OC Fall 2006
PTwars vs -idx.
(2007-01-19)
Map: Swamp Raid

Score: PTwars [ 10 - 2 ] -idx.
Lineup: b!6, Blade, Debian, Enslaver, Kurtz, Trunks

The last game before the finals, where we only knew it was going to be a Portuguese Team winning today. We were really expecting a very tight game against one of the top5 pt teams.
I was having some problems running the cvars on the server (we played on our server since idx server is still in 2.7) but idx as reasonable people understood and so we agreed to play without them.

Starting on defense, the Match Observer restarted the map without warning us, when trunks was already dead, appears the server had 7m instead of 4m. There was fair play so we started again a new round.
They really surprised us on the first round with a rain of nades coming from south to the objective and tents area, while we were struggling against them, trying to stop them they sent two from north on our backs, hitting us hard we still managed to win the first three rounds. They kept fighting hard against us and won the fourth and fifth round, so he had to regroup our team, try different, this way we won our last round with some great moves from our AR's.
4-2 by half game, a good result for both teams and anyone could still win.

We started on assault, meeting all in south, trying to smoke the area to create some panic among them and this way rushing to the objective, by this time when we all had pings around 40/45 (except blade and other player from them, probably clix users who had around 120), they started to raise till 80/100, that wasn't a problem except we really started to "warp", like if server was crashing, we still managed to win and the server got better pings. So we started another round, same strategy and again by the time we were trying to attack the objective same lag, Lincoln just said "we wont play like this" and so they all left the server. Seriously why not asking for a discard round so we could talk? Since there was an admin watching the game there wouldn't be so hard to try getting to a agreement.
By the cb rules "if a team leaves during a game the remaing rounds go for the other team", (in my opinion it really was a lack of respect leaving us without talking first), we could just go with that but no, i tried to talk with them on IRC, so we could come to some agreement, server got normal and so they entered again on server. We talked with admin who offered us an neutral server at Netherlands, we both agree so we changed to there. Since they left a live round it was only fair to do the other remaining rounds, with result 6-2. They didn't seem to like the idea, it was better than leaving the server with a 10-2 no?
So we started the match again, now all with pings around 95/110, rushing half team from south and other half from north, they fight strong against us but blade, now with a good ping compared to before, we was giving headshots to everyone (reminding us an stupid hacker), really great moves that made us able to win four rounds in a row. But by the third round they just started talking trash "vocês são sempre a mesma merda", in english means "you are always the same shit".

Ok, does any other clan ever had problems with us? I challenge who ever had problems in a war with us to reply to this match report, since they accuse us i would like to know if we really have that bad fair play. And for those who don't know, i will refresh their memory's. Last CB Cup, we played in Pipe SF against PDS (former clan of this idx members), after the game, after they loose they went to admin accusing us of bug using, when admin requested their demos they just give up, don't make me say why... The same game where they made smurfing, playing someone with the account from other team player. And a few days ago against Ask Us, to twl in same map (Swamp Raid), they did the same, when the game was lost they just left the server.

I ask sorry for those idx players who don't deserve this situations, that are seriously players, but i won't play against you guys again like this, if you want my respect you gotta deserve it first.

  PTwars vs .ArC][
(2006-12-12)
 Map: Pipeline

 Score: PTwars [ 7 - 2 ] .ArC][
 Lineup: Acid, Blade, Debian, Gunz

Defending 4th place in TWL 4vs4 ladder we faced ArC, in Pipeline, which is now a fusion between former ACME and Rc7.
We started assault winning the first round quite fast and without many troubles, managing to kill them all in main pump room and taking the Primary obj at the same time.
Second round and third we lost them due to ArC closing their defense inside main pump making it hard for us to reach an obj.
But fourth fifth and sixth round, were ours, in which one of them we actually took Control Panel without them noticing, and on the others i can say, we created the panic for them, since they got nervous and started jumping from second floor and killing them selves, making it easy for us to win those rounds.

Score at half time was ptwars 4-2 ArC.

Changing to defense we had a really easy job, where we just needed to win three of the six rounds left.
That´s what we did on the first round we defended on Main pump not allowing them to reach obj, and on the other two rounds we made a more advanced defense where they didn't managed to get in the building without being killed, and on last round they couldn´t actually get inside the building, ending the game with us flashing last men outside main entrance.

Final score was ptwars 7-2 ArC.

We played a good game with some good teamwork that in some how confused or as i said "created the panic" on the other team.

GG´s ArC.

TWL Euro Obj 4v4 Ladder
PTwars vs [Majestic]
(2006-12-04)
Map: Mountain Ambush

Score: PTwars [ 3 - 7 ] [Majestic]
Lineup: Blade, Debian (Gaara), Gunz, Trunks (Masta)

Playing for the 3rd place in 4x4 ladder we faced Majestic in Mountain Ambush.
We started Escort, tried to win at least one round so we could go to Ambush and make a good stand but that didn't happened.
Majestic had a great defense around obj B, not allowing us to reach it with more than 2 players left, which made things very hard for us.
First round was very hard with Debian and Masta being killed really early on the round, leaving me and Blade alone against four opfor´s and we couldn't do much, getting killed almost at the end of the round.
Second round, we waited to get some kills before rushing obj B, but time rune out so we had to make an suicide attack getting me, the VIP, killed.
Third round we tried to rush, but Majestic stopped our rush with a great efficiency, Blade still managed to get two kills but they killed him and me winning this round also.
Round 4 we didn't had a chance and got all killed pretty fast.
Round five perhaps the round we were closer to win with Blade killing three opfor´s but then i had no time to rush to the last obj, so we ended up by loosing the round.
Last round on first half, Debian, Masta and Blade got killed in the first minute of the round, leaving me alone, i still managed to kill 2 Majestic players but then i had to rush obj B and try to kill them all, but ended up getting killed, making the score 6-0 at half time.

On second half we made some substitutions, with Trunks and Gaara replacing Debian and Masta, but it would be really hard to get back in the game and go to OT, since one error could be fatal.
We holded our defense three rounds, in which on the first we managed to kill the VIP when Majestic tried to take obj B.
Second round we had a very good round killing them all on their way to B again, loosing only Gaara with a good spam of Majestic from obj A to obj B.
On third round, after an early kill from Blade in obj A, Majestic made a good push towards obj B killed Trunks and Gaara that were on top of it, leaving me and Blade alone vs 3, but we still managed to hold our defense and protect obj B until the time rune out.
Fourth and last round of this match, Majestic rushed to B, flashed me and Trunks, while we tried to spam some nades, killed Blade and then Trunks and myself got killed while flashed leaving Gaara in a tight situation, managing to kill one of Majestic but then again they were all at obj B and got the last men of our team winning this match with a good teamwork.

I have to thank Majestic for the good sportsmanship they had, and we will sure meet again.

GG.

ClanBase AA:Operations OC Fall 2006
PTwars vs -]M[-
(2006-12-03)
Map: Dusk

Score: PTwars [ 9 - 3 ] -]M[-
Lineup: Acid, b!6, Blade, Debian, Gunz, Trunks

First match for these two teams, Portuguese Warriors and Mortiferus, ended up in a victory for .ptwars by 9-3.

PTwars started on Escort, taking it easy, as well as -]M[-, making their move towards extraction once they killed one or two players from -]M[-, but in this first round .ptwars managed to kill all the -]M[- players.
Second round -]M[- was more aggressive and killed three from the PT team, leaving them in a tight situation, but a good teamwork made it possible to kill almost the whole Mortiferus players leaving both teams in a 1vs1 situation where the VIP made his first kill.
Round 3 proved to be a hard round to the Escort team with Mortiferus killing almost all the ptwars leaving only two against four, but i think -]M[- couldn´t keep it cool to trap the VIP and killing him, allowing the two survivors from PT to clean the rest of the Mortiferus.
Score was 3-0 to ptwars.
On round 4, Mortiferus continued to be aggressive trying to eliminate as most opfor´s as possible to the close the defense around objective, but this time .ptwars made a great rush through North, eliminated all the players from -]M[- defending north side and escorted the VIP to Extraction.
On round five i had to say, although Mortiferus actually won the round, it proved to be a hard time.
With a great rush, Mortiferus team eliminated the whole ptwars team leaving only the VIP alive with no casualties to their side, but this VIP proved to be a hard target, and alone killed 5 of the 6 remaining players from Mortiferus, but the last man standing made a good shot and ended this hard round to both teams.
Last round on Escort ptwars made a great rush and killed all the -]M[- players loosing only one man.

Score at half time:
.ptwars 5-1 -]M[-

Swapping sides it would be hard for -]M[- to still win this match, but they made it clear they would try it, by opening this second half with a great rush through north leaving ptwars with no possible answer, only with one player alive that couldn´t do much to avoid that the VIP reached Extraction.
Round 2 another great rush from -]M[- but they made a mistake, letting the VIP alone and one ptwars found him and killed him, ending the round in less than a minute.
This third round on Escort proved to be very hard to Mortiferus, since they tried to change tactics but PT team had a good defense around objective and ended up by killing the VIP.
Round 10 it was terrible to -]M[- since they started to kill three ptwars and then couldn´t keep the cool to make that final move and attack the objective, loosing all the players while trying to gain the Extraction street, leaving the VIP against two ptwars, and after much going around trying to find out what was the better side to attack, the VIP got killed when he made his move to the Objective.
Score was now 8-2 to ptwars.
Round eleven was -]M[- round, killing all the ptwars with almost no response from the Pt team, very good round indeed from Mortiferus.
Last round of this match, just rush from both of the teams being ptwars stronger on ending the rush from -]M[- really early and killing the VIP who was sneaking from the north side.

Final score:
.ptwars 9-3 -]M[-

A great game from ptwars where -]M[- didn´t seemed to have arguments to go against the organization from the PT team.

(2006-11-26)
 Map: Dusk

 Score: PTwars [ 5 - 7 ] -uNk.
Lineup: Acid (b!6), Debian (Blade), Trunks, W!cked

Last match for us on Intermediate League, League which we didn´t had a very good first round due to so many changes in our team, but a much better second round after so much teamwork.

Before talking about the war i wanna thank all k1ck that stood up to this difficult period that we went through, and helped to end it.

Playing on Dusk, CQB map, against Team Unknown that has lots of experience and are very strong in CQB, we just decided that this war was to rotate as much as possible the roster, so all of the players could play.

Starting on Escort we had the hard mission to escort Debian to extraction, which started very bad with me team killing Debian ending the round quite fast.
The other rounds just were really hard with uNk. closing themselves on the north side not giving much chance to us.
On the third round we had the chance to win it, 3 vs 1, but we did some major errors that made it impossible to us to kill the only opf4r camping in the garage.
Not much more to say about it.
Result was 6-0 at the end of first half.

Changing to Ambush, we made some substitutions, due to what i have mentioned before, and the game went better, with k1ck making a good recovery, winning 5 rounds in which only in one of them they were close to victory, but Blade made a really good move and killed the 2 uNk. players left.
Last round uNk. made a very good attack flashing me and Trunks on north side, taking us down, killed Blade and b!6 alone couldn´t do much.

Nice last game, see you some other time uNk, good luck on playoff´s all of you that advance from group phase.

For us, it´s now time to think about Clan Base.

TWL Euro Obj 4v4 Ladder
PTwars vs Hal!faX.
(2006-11-24)
Map: SF Blizzard

Score: PTwars [ 9 - 3 ] Hal!faX.
Lineup: Blade, b!6, Trunks, Wicked

Attacking Hal!fax for the fourth place on TWL obj 4x4, we made a very good war, on a not very usual or played map, SF Blizzard.

We started on assault, and due to the fact that the map has random spawns i guess luck was on our side this time, and we got some good spawns with the objective being the substation box on 3 rounds.
First round we made some good team work, blowing the wall as fast as possible, spamming with nades actually catching one of them, we tried to go to objective while they rushed outside catching me and Blade by surprise, but B!6 and Trunks killed them all.
Second round, was really fast, objective was Substation Box, so we rushed and made objective with no time to kills in this round.
Third round, objective outside again, this time they almost took the round, killed me, Trunks and one of themselves in the middle of all this, then Blade made a nice move killed one of the two op4´s left, had the chance to kill the last but some bad luck made him fall from roof and got killed by the last member of Hal!fax leaving b!6 alone vs Pure^, in which Pure^ bled to dead, ending the round with 3-0 to .ptwars
Again on round 4 Objective outside, simple and fast round, we rushed and did objective.
On fifth round they killed us all, except b!6, really fast, and then b!6 almost made an Ace killing 3 op4´s in a very good move from the outside, tried to take objective but got killed while doing it.
Last round of Assault we almost had the round, but a bit of bad communication made the round really difficult, going from a 3 vs 2 situation, to our favor, to a 1 vs 1 after b!6 team killed trunks trying to get the enemy, and then got killed by Unlocked^.

Swapping to defense, with the score on our favor we tried to win the two first rounds, which we did actually, with some good teamwork, taking Hal!fax by surprise by rushing outside on the first round and on the second, Hal!fax tried to come into the building but got stopped on their way to the top leaving b!6 and Trunks alone vs one Hal!fax, and by killing him we won the round and the match.
Hal!fax wanted to play on, so as we, so we continued rushing outside loosing one round but winning two of the three rounds left leaving the final score 9-3 to .ptwars

GG´s, great sportsmanship and fair play from Hal!fax, it´s always a pleasure to play against you guys and maybe next time we can play tetris. xD

TWL Euro Obj 4v4 Intermediate League
  PTwars vs [Majestic]
(2006-11-19)
 Map: HQ Raid

 Score: PTwars [ 7 - 5 ] [Majestic]
 Lineup: Blade, Debian, Trunks, W!cked

With only one game left to the end of group phase in Intermediate League, we faced Majestic for the second time, now on Headquarters Raid, which is a very hard map, that requires good strategies and good coordination.
I can say we had that today. We started defense, had our tactics well planned and trained, and on first round they managed to kill first breaking through from the right side, but we managed to control the situation and the round was won by us cuz they were out of time.
Second round, one kill to each .k1ck.
On third round they managed to break our defense but Trunks made a very good job against two opfor´s, hiding himself until they went for objective, killing obj men and leaving the other one without time to do objective either to kill him.
But unfortunately we lost this fourth round, due to a very good team work from Majestic, that took three of us out and Trunks left alone couldn´t do much this time, so they managed to get the objective done.
With the score 1-3 to .k1ck we knew we couldn´t afford to loose anymore rounds in defense if we wanted to win and thats what we did, cleaning them out with no casualties to us on fifth round and with some good team work from Debian and Trunks on round 6, making the score 1-5, with .k1ck leading at half time.

On second half, we knew it was not gonna be easy, but we had some nice starts to make it work.
We made a good rush and, although they got to kill one of us first we managed to kill em all with some nice team play.
After that they started to tight the defense, making it really hard to us to get near the objective, killing us all while we just managed to take one of them out in rounds 8, 9 and 10 and round 11 went without we touching the "xixa" as someone i know would say.
Well game was now really complicated to us, one round left to end of the match, they had a tight defense and we just decided we had to win this one.
On ts Debian said "ok now we are gonna attack really slow and win this"... Well what happened was that we rushed them, Blade made a great move, caught one of them unprepared rushing to defense the dry river, Debian took the second kill on the house near East hill, me the third catching Maniek trying to hide himself to defend objective, and them was man hunt making this match a victory to .k1ck.

GG´s Majestic, thanks for the sportsmanship and we surely will meet again.

TWL Euro Obj 4v4 Ladder
PTwars vs .vi.-
(2006-11-17)
Map: SF Sandstorm

Score: PTwars [ 6 - 5 ] .vi.-
Lineup: Blade, Debian, Doste, W!cked

Today´s war was played in SF-Sandstorm, against the former Team Godlike, now known as Visceral Gaming.
We started West, playing carefully, trying to understand our enemies strategy, which was really a bad move since we lost central really quick and they managed to take us out on the first round.
We then started to be more aggressive and decided to take central objective with no waitings and that proved to be a good strategy, since we then managed to win all the remaining rounds of the first half with some major teamwork and always backing up each others positions.
Only in the sixth round of first half they managed to be in a situation of two to one for them but doste showed some cqb skills and whipped out the two remaining players of Visceral making the score 5-1 at half time.

On second half things would become more difficult since they decided to start the first round going by the edges of the map trying to flank us, which indeed they managed to do, killing most of our team and then taking the objectives, making the score 5-2.
Second round we decided to be more aggressive, which again was a good decision, winning the round with some fine teamwork and some cqb combats on central, that we made the best of it.
Score was 6-2, we just needed to win one more or tie one round and the game was ours.
They started to play really aggressive, surprising us with some great moves around central, which we didn't managed to provide a response and fight back, so they won round 9 and 10 by killing us all, then we did some nice moves on round 11 and they made all objectives with 2 of us in central.
Really good play. With the score on our favor, we just needed to tie this round, which we did, with some nice team play by doste and pf, having two objectives and leaving them with just one player left as the time was running out, they still managed to kill one of us but time runed out and the final score was 6-5.

Second round on this league against team -vatio. on a well known map to us, SF Csar.We started assault loosing the first round with a nice move from one of their players cleaning our whole team.
From that point on we started to be more organized and won the second, third and fifth rounds with some great teamwork. We could have won one more round but a lack of communication made it very difficult resulting on a two to one situation against us, where their last men took the round.

Changing to defence we started the first round really well managing to stop their rush through north and winning the round with no major difficulties to us.
They changed tactics but we made sure we had our defence tight and we won the next round.
With a great move by vatio they managed to come near the pilot objective and one of us missed the enemy and killed the pilot giving away the third round on defence. We won the next round with no major difficulties and on round eleven of the match they made their way to the pilot through north and again a lack of communication made it possible to them to break our defence and take the round.
Last round, pressure to both sides, but more to theirs since they made an mistake flashing themselves on the way to pilot from south and so we managed to win the match.

Defending our rank in the Objective Ladder against a polish clan, we made a nice war today. The first half was played in our server and the second in theirs (polish server).

We began in Assault Beta, with both teams starting on good spawns, but we were much better. After this they managed to tie the match, we gain advantage again in the next one, but they tied again afterwards. On the next round they won and this was the last time, in this match, that they managed to get a score that was favourable to them.

Half-time score: 3-3

In Assault Alpha we started by the same way as in Beta, with a win. They managed to tie once again, but this time it was the last tie that they got in this match.
After this we made some nice moves and we won all the rounds till the end of this game without any kind of response from their part.

After the next round they started to wake up and in the following four rounds they managed to win three.

Half-time score: 3-3

In the first round of Defense they started with a win.
After this we started winning and it was like this till the end of the match. They tried everything, but the score of each round was always the same.

Second game this week against this clan, we already knew they are very good players, still we hadnt that much time to scrim or prepare to this war. Everyday our members have exams or work till late and at weekeend we are all quite tired.

Starting at defense we were able to stop some of their rushes and ended the half game with 3-3. Assault, we came to our server, finally decent pings for us, but it wasnt enough, they really had an tight defense, everywhere we went there was a flash or nade, when we manage to get someone inside they were always in more number than us, we even tried make the objective 3 rounds but they were faster and so at the end the score was 3-9.

Went to OT, blade internet connection went down and we lost at the last minute. GG Hal1fax, we will meet again soon ^^

In this match, for the fifth week of this league, we faced a very good European clan.

Starting in Defense, we made a bad opening by loosing the first round. After that we didn’t managed to sustain their attack once more during this half, but the other rounds were all won without major difficulties.

Half-time score: 4-2

In Assault we made a good start, with Masta making a hattrick and with an excellent job made by all the others players of our team.
We tried just to break their defences one more time and at least tie the match, but what we did was not enough.

Defending our spot in this ladder against a clan that we faced a few times before and never lost with, we knew that we had to kept things that way.

Beginning in Defense we saw, by the first round, that both teams level was very different. The prove was the result: six rounds with a lot of kill and low on kia for us.

Half-time score: 6-0

Going to Assault after a very monotonous first-half we knew that was not going to be very hard to get a victory in this match. After loosing two rounds we won the third and that was enough. They wanted to play one more, so that’s what we did, but we lost this one. ^^

Playing against a very experienced clan from Poland for the fourth week of this season's league, we knew that it wasn't going to be easy.

Starting in Assault we made a good start with Trunks making an hattrick. The next four rounds were all lost, besides of our efforts, and in the last round of this half we got a win.

Half-time score: 2-4

Going to Defense after a nice score on Assault we tried to win this match, but what we did was not enough. And the final score is the prove of that.

Today we made another war against this known clan from Holland. Always a pleasure to play against them because of their sportsmanship.

We started in Ambush and we mainly tried to prevent opfor from getting objective B. Trunks was the first of us to kill, lucky for us, it was the VIP.
They only managed to win one round (the fourth) in this first half, but it was enough to make things a bit harder for us.

In Escort we began with a win, but the other five rounds were not the best for us. We tried several times to break their formation on objective B and the result was not good.

After this, the score was a tie (6-6), so we went to OT and the map was Dockside. We began in West and we didn't managed to gain control of the main building's roof, what maked things harder, but besides of the loss it was a nice try.

This was a match of this league's third week.

We made a good start in Assault by winning the first round where opfor bunked themselfs on objective B. They managed to tie next and basically this story was repeated till the end of this half. The only change was that they tried to do something more by sending a soldier to objective C.

Halt-time score: 3-3

Going to Defense after a positive result in the first half, we knew that victory was close. We won all the rounds without major dificulties.
The only thing that I can add is that after the tenth round (at this point we already won with a score of 7-3) they started leaving, but we warned them of the consequences of not completing all twelve rounds (read the rules) and they just returned to finish it.

With the objective on the front of the defense North side we made some mistakes and at the round was lost.

We started on West with alot of rushing and nading and the wins just kept coming till we get a result of 5-1 on this first half.

Going to East with a nice advantage we knew that was going to be easy to win and that was what happened.
On this half the score was the same as on the first, without major dificulties we managed to break their defenses and get objective B several times.

Ambush was started with the score of 2-4.

We were able to tie the match, although it was not enough, for they were able to gain advantage once more, forcing us to tie the game again.

Our first official game in this Intermediate League, against an NL clan, we were the away team so their server, some ping latencies, nothing that much.
We started on assault, the first two rounds were lost. The next was ours, two more lost rounds and the last one was again ours.
Switched to defense, and they started rushing, we weren't able to stop them on the first three rounds, at the 10th round we manage to win it, lost again the next and another win on the last.
Besides the result, 8-4 was a very tight game.

We started on Assault with a win on the first and second rounds, but on the next and on the fifth round we were suprised by some nice moves from opfor, that managed to won it. The fourth and the sixth were ours.

Was a very nice game with lots of criticals and spawn bugs.

They mostly defended with two on each side (bridge and ridge), so we decided to make a massive attack, on other two rounds of this first half, and it worked out just fine.

After a very good result on assault (4-2), Defense was going to be much easier.
We won all the three rounds that were left without difficulties. They didn't managed to make any major damaged to our defense and their ridge/bridge attacks were easily stopped by us.

Today we made ou last match on this event, because we didn’t managed to qualify for the playoffs.
Facing a clan that needed the three points to go foward or else Team SE would take the second spot, we knew that they were going to give all they can to win.

We started on Defense with objective located on the center. They made a nice rush throw North, we made some kills, but it was not enough to stop the two remaining from escaping with the briefcase. On the second we all died when trying to protect the objective. The third and the fourth were won, then we lost again and finally we won the last round of the first half.

Assault was not going to be easier and with them defending the objective with a nice organization, things got harder.
We lost the first and after that CE’s took place taking about 20 minutes of our time on rounds discarded. After that we won the next with a nice show by Debian, that killed four of them. On the next rounds we lost.

On the Invite’s fifth week of group stages we played Hospital against a well known clan from Finland.

We started on Ambush with a traditional strategy against their agressive attack. Their Vip always used the front doors to escape from Hospital and sometimes rushed throw some smoke. We killed Vip twice, once when he was escaping from the bottom front door and another when he was near the Ambush building.
They won the first half with a 4-to-2 advantage.

On Escort we loss the first round after one of Vip’s “bodyguard” failed on protecting him. On the last rounds of this match the team tried everything they could to escort Vip, but we had success only once.

Playing with less members and against one of the best teams from Europe wasn't easy.

We sarted on Assault with some delay and loss all the rounds, but we give them a fight on most of those rounds.

On Defense, there were no changes, we managed to win one round, but lost the others.

Yesterday we played against a fun team made of players from the pro community of Israel.

Starting on Loyalty we made a bad job on the first two rounds, our rush to C was not enough to win, so we tried something different on the next rounds, what turned out to be a better ideia. We managed to win the other rounds of that first half, so we went to Honor with a favorable result.

On the second half we maked some “old school” moves on the Blue and on the Church and we won three from the five rounds played.

Btw: On this half they played only with five players.

Facing probably the world's best clan, in one of their best maps with less 1 player, made the result predictable since the 1st moment, although final result turned out to be heavier then we thought.

We started East and Simplus managed to win 6 rounds without many worries, excepting on 2 rounds where we had very tight situations. Simplus played one round with 5 players too, because one of them had pc problems.

After switching to West, things weren't about to be easier then in the 1st part, and Simplus showed us that by winning 7th and 8th round.
9th round were won due to nice teamwork between us, and also by some nice lit moves.
The remaining rounds went Simplus, who did all the efforts to defend their reputation.

Today a very long war was made on Bridge SE. Besides of this long range map, alot of criticals and ISP problems occured.

We started on Assault and lost three consecutive rounds. After that we manged to tie the match thanks to our great teamwork and some nice moves on the bridge.

Going to Defense after a nice result on Assault, we start badly by loosing the first round, where we didn't manage to stop their rush throw the bridge.
The next rounds were ours and all I can say is that on the nineth round Debian killed five followed enemies (therefore equaling Mastas's recent record).

Playing against a portuguese clan on this european ladder, we made a great match today.

Starting on Assault with good expectations, we lost the two first rounds, but on the third our effort was not for nothing, with Debian making a magnificent run (pretty much like Obikwelu, but with some jumps on the middle) to the objective.
The next three rounds were lost, but with some fine effort from our team.

Going to Defense with a five to one disadvantage, we knew that our job was going to be hard. This was confirmed after the first round that we lost without myself playing it, because of my isp problem.
With a greater disadvantage on score, we made some good moves and managed to win all rounds.
Therefore making a 6-6 result, so OT was needed.

MOUT MacKenna was the map, we started on Honor and Doste took Big's place.

On the beginning Doste killed me with a nade on the blue building, Blaster killed a enemy with a nade near the blue and Commando was killed on the church. After some time and near the end of the round, Gohan killed one on Alpha, Doste killed two on the blue and after this, Debian and Gohan shoot down the last two enemies on the church.

GG's

Note: After the match we were suprised by a dispute, that was made by them, affirming that Blaster was using the "binoculars bug-exploit" and that Acid was using another kind of bug. The dispute was obviously rejected, but our good reputation and our honor was questioned, what is very bad. And the worst is that this was made by another portuguese clan that had a great relationship with us.

Facing a European top clan, we knew that a great match was going to happen.

We started on Ambush and did a good job on the first round, but on the end we only pulled out 4 wining rounds of all the 6. Notice that their Vip did not rush one time to objective, what turned out to be sometimes a good thing, when they managed to kill most of us, and other times a very bad strategy, since on some occasions they left the Vip alone against 2 or 3 of ours.

So, going to Escort, with a difficult job ahead we did all we could to win this match, but it turned out to be a loss for us. Unfortunately for us, our aggressive strategy was, most of the time, stopped by them.

Final result: 4-8

Yesterday we faced ops. on BridgeSE, counting for the 4v4 TWL Ladder. Ops started on defense, and after a few minutes of waiting we started the war. Since the beggining that we became aware of the highly difficult task that it was going to be to break their defense, so hard that we didnt even managed to do so. We tried several moves, and the best one was when i took down Tarquin on the D tower, went a bit up in the terrain and i just remember when it became a 2v2 situation, where unfortunnetly ops won. In the middle of this Baia got his i-net down, and we were forced to play with only 3.

At half-time Baía crashed once again. We waited for him for a long time and nothing, so, without a single player available to play, everybody seemed to be away partying or something, we were forced to play the 7th round with only 3 guys. We stood up to the challenge, taking one down, but when they took Blade, it became too hard for us, and so i was killed letting only Debian alive...He tried but their saw in CQB was better. Congrats ops, sorry for our tech problems

What About Us? community analysis by Armageddon and Amisoul Comments 2 comments

Was browsing on some gaming sites and stuff and then i saw this interview involving two guys i really love their hard work, especially Arma, whom i know for some time by now, hope u n'joy!

WHAT ABOUT US ?
community analysis by Armageddon and Amisoul

Exploring a new side of our site features, we decide to get in touch with a sensive subject: portuguese community. It has been the point of discussion and shoutout everywhere and its status is being carefully analysed by dedicated members. An electronic community is built in front of a monitor with people that we only know by chat rooms or punctual conversations, each one different from the other but all of them with one passion in common: Gaming.
The professional teams like Team3D, SK-Gaming or 4Kings are full-time dedicated to the game and all it components: they train like a football team with a schedule and a coach, there is a lot of money involved and an hidden excellent staff that take cares of everything. That's an enterprise formed by gamers to gamers. Of course that everyone wish to be like them, live a 3/4 years from playing games all round the world, be known, be a star among millions of players. But the life isn't that beatiful vision: they work hard to reach were they are, of course that luck is part of it as it is a major factor on success, have dedicated people behind them, invest money; but the real factors that divide the professional gamers from the "wannabes" (sorry for the expression but it's the reality) could be grouped in four: honesty, sacrifice, duty and confidence. The external factor is only one: community.
That here that the question comes up: What About Us?. As we all know, unfortunately our community is not the best place to achieve such higher spots. But there are people who did it in the past and the ones who keep trying to by their own ways, working hard, dedicated to his purpose attending the "call of duty". You must know that no one could start from the highest place, because those who try to fly more than their plane could go crash and die, no one could build a house starting from the roof or die without born. It's the laws of nature, imposed by her "just a few days ago". The main problem is that in Portugal, there is too much people trying to start from the top and when it happens, the fall is bigger; and when they fall, they hurt themselves and the community itself.
To get some feedback, we get in touch with two guys that have built one of the most successful national e-sports multigaming project and that have been subject from many articles related to Electronic Games in Portugal: Armageddon and Amisoul, head leaders from Underworld Preachers, mainly known as uP|Clan.

5Giants.net: Hi Armag3ddon and Amisoul.

Armag3ddon: Hi, my name is Telmo Silva and im 20 years old, im head leader of uP|clan for more than 3 years and a half, and i implemented multigaming at uP, i went through several online games and those who i was most comited to were Unreal Tournament, Tactical Ops, Call of Duty and today CS Source from wich i'm leader.

AmiSoul: Hi, my name is Amilcar Araújo, i'm 28 years old, i'm also head leader of our beloved underworld Preachers family for more than 3 years, my main game is Unreal Tournament since 1999, but i also play in a non official and fun base games like, CSSource, Quake 4, Call of Duty 2, BattleField 2, Enemy Territory, Quake 3, Football Manager 2006, Pro Evolution Soccer 5 and so on.

Telmo "Armageddon" Silva and Amilcar "Amisoul" Araujo
featured on PCGuia , a national computer science magazine (Portuguese article)

5Giants.net: There's no need to present both of you. Your names are a reference on national e-Sports scene. How did you deal with it?

Armag3ddon: I never thought I was a reference on the e-sports national scene, but I just deal with things by being myself. Being humble above all is for me the most essential trait, specially online where no-one is better than anyone else, there has to be respect.

AmiSoul: This is a first for me, never thought or even wished to be such a reference on the e-sport national scene, i think it's all in the way we deal with everyone inside and outside our upgaming.com family, we always try to help others by sharing everything we learned with everyone, no one knows everything and only with eachothers help we can grow and become better.

5Giants.net: WCG Grand Final was the point of interest for 5 days with top teams and highskilled players involved in. What do you think about the performance of our representans on the major games CSS and WC3, with k1ck and Solid? What about the representation itself?

Armag3ddon & AmiSoul: Let's start by saying that the way Ricardo Corvo and his team have been handling the WCG in Portugal deserves a hand of applause. They have been tireless in the quest to take the e-Sports to a higher level. Concerning k1ck’s participation in Singapore, we can all realize that they played awesome clans in the National finals (i.e.excello and eXnet) and considering that they came out victorious that by itself should be a sign of what they can do. They had their morale way up there and with such big opponents, we believe that they give their best. Now onto Solid, I’ve played other games with him and I know that he is extremely dedicated, so that was a plus. I have no idea of the skill level of their opponents but I’m pretty confident he had played at high level. Unfortunately, we were all eliminated on Group Stage but the merit is undeniable.

5Giants.net: ESWC 06 Portugal start next year and there are many expectations above this season qualifiers. The best teams are betting hard on the ESWC 06 and many others are being "founded" each day with the same objective: qualify to ESWC national final. How did you see such environment around the qualifiers of this season?

Armag3ddon: Its really good that there is such a growing interest in e-Sports in Portugal. This is great because it’s starting to influence even those players who only do it for pure fun. It’s making players more dedicated, and as such, raising the skill level making us all better players.

AmiSoul: ESWC 06 it's a competition we want to bet and will try to attend, because this is one of the top competitions of our growing national e-sports scene, but at the moment our CS 1.6 team is inactive due to reasons we are still trying to solve with our great CS 1.6 manager, Trowa, we know how important is to bet in Counter Strike teams, so we will keep our eyes open and be receptive to a good possibility to bring back the activity to our CS 1.6 team.

5Giants.net: Portugal is facing a new problem that is becoming bigger and bigger: new clans, if we can name it like "clans", are being opened and after 1~2 weeks it's over; the former players group themselves again and another one is announced. In your opinion, what are the short-period effects that this actions could take to us?

Armag3ddon: These clans that “are born” and “die” in a period of days just disappoints me, because Portugal needs strong, solid and long lasting projects to increase its “skill level” and to have healthy competition between clans that have been rivals for a long time. The problem with these clans is that they lose a game once or twice and they just quit. This can't happen… losing should only make you strive to become better, work on your weaknesses and improve on yourself.

AmiSoul: I think this actions give a poor image of poor objectives and lack of ideals to our national e-sports scene. For this people that constantly keep creating and/or re-born clans i have my personal and humble vision and opinion: The e-sports it's somehow an underworld parallel to our real world, that for some people, outside the scene, is just a virtual world, but for the ones that play with objectives and ideals, understand that there's much more than that. If everyone could feel that an important thing in e-sports is to acknowledge that all the environment created should be a different and virtual way to gather and create a group of friends, that play together as a team, coexists and work as one, always with a strong team spirit, then i believe we will see less clans opening and ending after 1~2 weeks or months.

5Giants.net: When we talk about Portuguese community problems, a major one is always mentioned by everybody: mentality. Do you really think that this is our biggest problem we have to deal with?

Armag3ddon: It’s probably not the biggest problem, but it creates a lot of things that shouldn’t happen in the “community”. One of these things is the above mentioned short-lived clans. On the other hand we have the complete opposite. Some “old school” players who just think they are “1337”, that they have been playing for longer, and consequently are better (not always the case) than anyone else. That’s just plain stupid. Sure they probably are better but that doesn’t mean they should act as pricks… Another thing that leaves me a bit confused are multi-gaming clans who just want to have the top teams on each game, and for that they propose unrealistic things to everyone they want to “assimilate”. This leads to heavy consequences, most of the time people just don’t get along and everything is ruined. For me the biggest problem is heavily associated with the “mentality” of our players, the cheating, that juts takes the fun out of the game and after a while people just get tired… If there's something that I play for, it’s that rush of adrenaline, to know that your playing someone else, improving or losing abilities, shooting and getting shot at. The satisfaction of saying “Damn that’s a good shot…”. Cheating just kills the game.

AmiSoul: I fully agree with Armag3ddon, just want to make a simple conclusion, a good mentality and a good attitude consequently leads to a positive learning, evolution and recognition.

5Giants.net: On the other hand, we've got real projects running for a long time and that are well known outside: 5Giants, the biggest project ever made on our country; k1ck, recently formed into an official Electronical Sports Association and also qualified to WCG Grand Final; exotic-island with an excellent past and a rising future; Underworld Preachers, mostly known as uP|clan, with a deniable past, great achievements and lots of recognition outside. What are your main targets to be pointed to our readers about "How to become a successful clan"?

Armag3ddon: The real points to get sucess, i don't say in results, but to create a solid structure and later have good results in e-sports terms. To have a good environment and excelent feedback so that you can discuss what is wrong so it can be solved, having good environment and work, the teamplay will rise, and the victorys will apear. One of the main things is to create a structure with everybody in the clan, and not to depend on sponsors, but to have their help, because one of the things that happens a lot is when a clan looses sponsors the players begin to leave, because they have more love to the sponsors than to the clan. Multigaming is not only having divisions and servers for those divisions, i think there must be dialog to try to transmit the idea of what the online gaming comunity is, and that way of behaviour has been very important to make us what we are today, a consistent and united multgaming clan, a family.

AmiSoul: The project, family and clan, underworld Preachers 2002, initial known for our origin tag ( -=[uP] ), #up|clan on qnet and recently for uPgaming.com, was born in 28th of May, 2002. The little but recognised success we had in 3 and half years, is due to our ideals of making the clan environment look and feel like a family environment should be, in our eyes, we are also growing fast, because we give much value to an unquestionable friendship between all members, as much as we give to the attitude we feel every single member should have before and for the community, all of this protect in a certain way our clan and family, keeping the good environment that we have and intend to keep forever. I believe, the evolution of a player and/or clan can only prevail if this two basis exists, friendship and attitude, with some good amount of responsibility and all possible dedication. This is the secret and soul of our 3 and half years of existence, full of victories and defeats, happiness and sadness, dreams and nightmares, illusions and disillusions, that we all shared and remember several times with a tear in our eyes and a smile in our lips.

5Giants.net: uP|clan history is attached to both of you and your life is part of it. What's your "routine" on uP at the moment?

Armag3ddon: Underworld Preachers history is not only connected to us, but to all the people that have participated, will participate and will keep participating in it. As for my life and up, its a strong connection, its very intense and deep love, from which ive been thru hapiness, sadness, and so on. And everything that goes on with the clan makes me change my state of mind a lot. This has made me grow as a person, gaining maturity, (i started to lead with 16/17 years old) and friendships that i can rely forever, as much as they can rely on me. My routine at uP is very busy, there are always stuff to take care of, servers to configure, organize, and think of new ideas to inovate, and of course playing . Its very complicated to me to gather my leadership at uP with college, but the tasks are very divided today.

AmiSoul: How can i put this, i think the best way to show how much uP means to me and is a part of me, is to tell you a real and present story about my car. When i wanted to buy my second car i've asked a friend that owns a car stand, if he could get me any car with the letters UP in the car plate, he found an Opel Corsa Njoy with it and the deal was done. My friend told me this was the first time someone as made this kind of request, but i still think he just said that to make me feel special and buy the car hehe. I guarantee you that we are passing some of our best years of youth having fun, in a way we never imagined to be possible in the e-sports scene, because to be honest, i think everyone would like to get some recognition and satisfaction of everything they do in life, so that all this friendship, dedicacion and organization become united in one single word, uP. To finish this thought, for us all summarizes to the image we create from the inside to the outside of our clan, the image of a second home and family, where everyone have some level of responsibility.

5Giants.net: What are the main targets to uP|clan in the future?

Armag3ddon: The objectives and projects of up are inumerous, but still the feet must be on the earth, to get to a higher level, you must build the other levels with a lot of strength, fisical and mental. In e-sports results closer to us now is the clanbase open cup, wich we are recognized for our commitement, and for who doesnt know, in the last opencups, we gathered several awards in different games/competitions. As for Lan we hope to be present at the portuguse finals of ESWC and WCG new seasons.

AmiSoul: We are adapting, recently we participated and intend to keep participating on events like WCG, ESWC and other lan tournaments, this didn't happened in the past. The underworld Preachers always been a clan with a solid participation in online competitions ( Clanbase, TWL, ESL, War-zone and etc), therefore we don't have the same experience as such great clans like k1ck, 5Giants, excello, exotic and exnet in lan events. The biggest and most proud award we've got in a lan event, was to qualify two teams for the WCG 2005 Portuguese final. We also intend to keep participating in several online competitions that are recognised to be stable and organised, so if someone sees uP / uP|clan / uPgaming.com together with our beloved portuguese flag, the chances to be our big underworld Preachers family are really high. The projects and objects we have for the near future, pass by keeping and gathering all the support we can get from all our members ( Team managers, Divisions leaders, simple members, our excellent webdesign team and clan friends ) and from companies that want to bet in a serious and solid project. With that support we intend to share all this with all new players arriving in this e-sport community, developing projects like uPSchool, that is a simple virtual school, where some of our different game divisions accept new players and give their support and knowledge, to facilitate their integration in this new competitive reality of our national and international e-sports community. I also have to mention a project we are recently developing, the #uP|Female on qnet, that i'm sure, will bring so much proud and joy to our uP family and to the generality of our national/international e-sports community. This project consist on accepting and captivating all female to join the e-sport scene, in a competitive way, without forgeting the important and fun part of it.

5Giants.net: To finish this talking that so much pleasure brings to me, about the concept of gaming in Portugal and also the support given to it, what are your expectations about it? Do you believe that in a near future, the national gaming will have his value recognised?

Armag3ddon: A few years back, online gaming did not have the vision it has today, as far as connection terms, getting better with time, and having great results that are lasting and sucessful projects like 5Giants and k1ck.

AmiSoul: I think we can keep our hopes that someday we all gonna achieve the deserved recognition, because we have some serious, solid and strong projects developing in Portugal, such as k1ck, 5Giants and etc, without forgeting our humble but also ambitious underworld Preachers project.

Lineup: Pix (Baía), Debian, Blade, Masta, Gohan, merujo

Tonight we played to maintain the number 1 on the 6x6, which unfortunnettly we were unable to attend.

We started on west, where we did the best we could getting a 3-3 score, which was good considering the time we practiced the map. No major problems, but they were soon to come....for the second half ^^

Then Baía entered for Pix's place, and covering the hardest side on Sand, we stood up to what they were bringing but their moves on our spawn were great and combined with their rush, coming from the south wall, we got our ticket to second place.
Some problems happened concerning CE's....md5's.... thank god we're not like some other clans that dont give a shit bout others. We finnally got to end the war, in a map that we tottally dislike for wars, but....life is life

Maps: Mountain Pass/Urban Assault

Score: PTwars [ 9 - 3 ] -[MDS]-
Lineup: Pix, Baía, Blade (Fuzi), Debian (Masta), Gohan, merujo

We decided to take a walk to the mountain, and so we challenged a clan known for....playing the mountain :P

We played on defense, and the best we could do was to win 5 rounds and let them take one. First rounds MDS couldnt think about something good to take us down, but in the 4th round they managed to surprise us. In the remaining two rounds they almost pulled out another round, but Baía stopped them with some smart moves on CP.

Was then time for UA, where MDS have been improoving their CQB skills, but fortunnetly we were better today. 4-2 for us, with some great skills displayed by MDS, focused on releasing the chaos and not letting us to approach the obj's.

 Score: PTwars [ 8 - 4 ] [BF]
Lineup: Baía (Pix), Blade, Gohan, Fuzi, Masta, merujo

So today we faced BF, the Finnish clan known for their good Pipeline wars and strats.

We like to start on assault, and so it was, with two groups we tried to cause as much damage as possible.
With an impressive result of 4-2 on assault, we were much confident about our winning today. Everything seemed to be working well, even in lower numbers we managed to win some rounds with spectacular work from Fuzi and Blade.

Moving to defense, all we needed was 3 more rounds, but against a Pipe clan like this one....carefull please !
Winning the first and loosing the second, we were just about to unleash the final strike when Baía decided to be without internet...or better....his ISP decided...

Pix came in, BF made a sub as well and all were ready to rumble!
That 3rd round i only remember Fuzi and Masta cleaning them all over main pump and on the 4th Gohan and Blade decided to kill'em all over Sec.

Final, 8-4, GG's BF, as always

Map: Woodland Outpost

Score: .ptwars [ 9 - 3 ] [B.A.T]
Lineup .ptwars: Baía, Blade, Debian, B!6 (Pix), White Masta (gohan)
Lineup [B.A.T]: AnubiS, Ranger, Master, kopeman, GoaGoBlin

Score: PTwars [ 7 - 5 ] -]M[-
Lineup: AciD, Gohan, Pix, Blade, Debian, merujo

Facing one of the top clans of the world on IC, we had a really hard job tonight.
Mortiferus played with their top players on the map, and as for us, were just a bunch of noobs, apart from Pix

We started on assault and with some great teamplay we managed the 4-2. Dominant action: attack the TPC, with some coordinated movements we made all the damage possible and it worked out pretty well. Mortiferus took their chances with 4 players near TPC and 2 on the other end.

On defense we had major problems again. Mortiferus with some impressive 203's by RIP managed to make the difference. To win 3 rounds on defense we had the great display from Blade defending the TPC as in one round he killed 3 e's with great moves. Before that round i managed to take Caedes in the first 3 shots as he was climbing the middle assault hill, after that i killed more 3. AciD make quite a good job on BPC. Gohan and Debian fought till the end on the TPC. Pix made everything possible to detain their entrance in the building.

The final result shows how great was the match, and today we had the lucky star on our side, gaving us that extra round to win.

Dispite all our efforts, BPC managed to win again to us, in a close match, where "rush" was the action of the day.

We started on Assault, and with some good rushes we managed to take 3 rounds from BPC, and we almost did another one when Blade was doing the basement PC, but unfortunnetly things went bad.

On defense we knew how hard it was going to be, against a good clan in the 4v4 format. Quick and agressive, BPC managed some strong rushes into the top PC, and the best we could do was to win 2 rounds.

Congrats to BPC, for their clean teamwork

Maps: Weapons Cache SE/JRTC Farm

Score: PTwars [ 9 - 3 ] =[LC]=
Lineup: Blade (Baía), Pix, Gohan, Debian, Doste, merujo

Against a clan that in the majority of the wars on CB chooses either WC or Farm, we challenged them for a war tonight on WCSE, and their side was...Farm.

On WCSE, after 6 rounds on defense we managed to take the 6-0 lead, always trying to surprise them as much as possible, with random defensive spots and defensive strats. A 3rd obj. seemed to confuse LC a lot, as they barely would reach the 3rd and last objective.

At half time Blade had to go and Baía came for his place to play Farm. Obviously LC went for defense and was then our task to win on assault as much as we could.
Always managing to put some guys alive up in the terrain it seemed impossible to win until the 4th round, where we started to smash their defense.
LC couldnt put up with a good rush, loosing an average of 4 guys in the first minutes, and when it came to the final, we managed to always kill them.

Final result 9-3 for PTwars

Knowing in advance that BARS wouldnt let escape a chance of playing SF CSAR, we challenged them on that same map, and obviously they picked their side as CSAR

We started on Assault, to see how far we could go with a good defensive clan, on what turned out to be a little of a massacre...

On the first live round we all were very afraid cause of this:

4-2 on assault... mtf's.... how could they ?

On defense, due to injuries, Gohan and Baía had to leave...

Surprise Surprise!

6 in the bjum.... making it 10-2 overall...

OMG!!!!1111one!

Why man ?

Aww and btw, dispite BOSTONIAN doesnt gives a shit about clan hoppers, u should be ashamed...lol
Why do you have KGB's on your roster? Why do some of you play for KGB ?

This means we won 2 clans on one war...awww yeah!
Maybe CB open their eyes and check for the smurf...or maybe not...

Maps: SF Sandstorm/Mountain Ambush

Score: PTwars [ 9 - 11 ] [BPC]
Lineup: NIGHTMARE (Baía), Gohan (merujo), Debian (Fuzi), Blade

Despite all our efforts to beat BPC yesterday, all were in vain, when it came for us the time to play OT on Urban.

First was BPC's choice, SandStorm, where starting on East we draw 2-2, and on West we scored one more, making it 3-5 in a very close match.

Moving on to MA, the map we choosed after choosing first Swamp Raid ^^
4 rounds won on Ambush, and on escort BPC managed to score 1 while being on defense, but our evil rush prooved to be effective making it 5-1.

Now according to TWL, it doesnt matters the number of won rounds, cause thats non-sense.
What matters is winning the map, so, even tho we were with a score of 9-6, thus winning the whole war, we needed to un-draw on UA, cause BPC had one win, and we had one win.

On UA, we choosed West to start, and obviously BPC showed all their CQB skills and managed the 3-1 lead. On East they won 2 more rounds, deciding the playoff.

The new playoff format is great. So we almost draw on their map, won 5-1 on ours, but still we needed to go to an extra map. Hopefully next year each team will get to choose 3 maps each

After facing msn on past monday, we played them again today, only on opposite roles, as this time we were the ones defending the number one.

We begun on assault, knowing how hard it was going to be to break their defense. Against a clan with great strats and players, we wished at least to get one round or two on assault. It turned out to be easier then what we thought, managing to get 3 rounds on assault due to a fast paced movement in their last resort, the pilot.

Very tight rounds, never going to the north side, where we saw from the beggining that was very well defended.

So, after a 3-3 on assault, on defense we made up ours minds towards what was going to be a hell of a task.
MSN decided to make agressive attacks thru north, where me and gohan did the best we could, and the proof of that was that they only managed to get in one time, what turned out to be more than enough as they scored a round on assault due to that.
After this i decided to make a little surprise on south, killing one of theirs and as i was coming back i was shot in the stairs near the inferno. Our team held well, winning that and the next round, therefore winning the war.

7-4 to PTwars, on a high level performance, completly different from monday, where MSN was superior on the 1v1 situations. Today was our turn to show service and so we stand some more days on #1 waiting for the next challenger.

Pretty hard to tell who was our MVP, everyone played top class tonight so the prize goes to teamplay.

Good Games

Looking foward to take the 1st place of this ladder, we started the match 1 hour later because of the authentication issue.
First side for us was assault and we tried to win one or two rounds, but we lost all 6.

Going to defense and another issue came up: CEs. They had several and involving more then one player. I don't know if it was lucky or not, but we didn't get one.
We played the round and beside of our efforts we lost it.

6 Feb 2006, final day of the AA: Operations OpenCup Fall 2005 on ClanBase where proudly 3 portuguese clans reached the semis, but only one reached the final, us :P

FBL, that recently got pipe traumatized, faced us today on MPSE, the big snowy map, where we did a hell of a job.

Map: Mountain Pass SE

Score: PTwars [ 9 - 3 ] ]FBL[

Finnish Battle Lions
Lineup: Banzer, d1nos4ur, Zeta, Oziris, konnavaari, Shado

Portuguese Warriors
Lineup: Baía, Blade, Gohan, Pix, Debian, Merujo

MO’s: [WD]DJSpahr, [RDAF]Phyzor

Started on assault, getting the first round with a show from Mr. Blade, taking down 4 guys like flys… Amazing, and that was the warning that this was going to be another hard war for FBL. Im not going to get in details, but when we started to drill their A Obj. defense it was like little lunnies running around. FBL never got to adjust well their defense, what gave us the opportunity to go on and on and on...

At mid time is was 4-2 for PTwars, on what seemed to be another massacre from us...
After aproximatly 30 critical's, we just laughed... How's possible something like Tournament Mode to get out to the whole community in such conditions...sad.

We won the first D round, and on the second i ended without i-net...lol... Portuguese ISP's again @ top level... No Words... And so we lost that round. With me struggling to get my net back it suddenly came, so i joined again the game right when Francis was about to start playing :P sorry kiddo :P

Next 2 rounds were ours, making the 7-3 and therefore the Victory. FBL left due to the late time in Finland, +/- 5:30am there, here 10:30pm, so the last 2 rounds are ours as well, making the final score 9-3.

Great War, we gladly took the cup to Portugal which we wanna dedicate to all the portuguese barking dogs.

Btw, eu vou dedicar as minhas kills ao hobbes pois ele tem imensa piada!

 Map: Insurgent Camp

 Score: PTwars [ 8 - 4 ] -116th-
Lineup: Pix, merujo, Francis (Gohan), NIGHTMARE (Baía)

Against a friendly and sportsmanship clan, tonight all we could do was to play it nicely, without any rush...

116 standarts made us loose 2 rounds on assault and 2 on defense.

After pulling out some smokes, we did our usual game, getting inside the house as much as possible. Something is worth saying, Pix, alone, managed to kill the 3 116's that were left
4-2 for PTwars @ mid time.

On defense, after waiting for mankilla trying to get in, Gohan jumped in his place to make a great job and Baia entered for NIGHT's place.

116 showed to be very agressive but "dog that barks dont byte ahaha " and so we gave away 2 rounds just to be cool :P

Final score 8-4...not a great story, against a clan that was more interested in ending their nightmare than winning the war.

BPC and PTwars are then the teams going ahead to the next stage.

 Score: PTwars [ 5 - 7 ] 4FuN^

On the beginning we were trying to get an agreement about on wich server we would play, since our average ping on their Poland server was more then 2 times higher then their average ping. After almost half-hour we agreed to play half of the match on their other server (on Holland) and the other half on ours.

So there we went starting on Assault trying to win one round. We lost all the 6 rounds, but there were 2 rounds were we close of a win. They defended mostly objective C (on the first 3 rounds they defended C, then on the other 2 they defended B and on the last C again).

Changing server and sides we started very well winning 4 rounds on Defense, but on the 5th round we loss.

Final result: 5-7

Tonight we played these great finnish guys on Pipe, concerned about our 8Win streak, we gave everything to win today.

Today Masta made his very first war competing at high level, and i must say we are very proud of him
GJ bro !

Starting on assault, we lost the first round on what was a great strat from FBL! The following 2 rounds were ours, with some great display of skills. Them, it was crit's after crit's....TM is so bugged...whatever...

Managing to win another round, we ended 3-3 on assault, a great result for us in this kind of map.

Switching to defense, Doste and Sask came in replacing Masta and Debian, and they entered well on the game.
The outcome was our victory, with a 4 rounds winning, letting FBL with no chances... They claimed to be their worst war ever...i dont think so. We played very well tonight, and that is shown thru the result of the war.

PTwars vs ^.SE
(2006-01-31)
Map: SF Arctic

Score: PTwars [ 9 - 3 ] ^
Lineup: Debian, Sask, Blade, merujo

And once more, a war to the 4v4 TWL where Gohan was meant to play, but was unable due to his high ping. Pix came to fill the gap but unfortunnetly he had the same problem, so Blade gave me a call and i came all the way to sub them.

We started on assault, taking the first round without huge strats, so we found that very strange. After knowing where they were defending we decided to move on once again and....taking it successfully. In the third round my net connection went dead, and forced to play with three we couldnt make it, and in the fourth we lost again. The remaining two round were ours, making it 4-2 for us.

On defense i realized and forced Deb, sask and blade it wasnt going to be easy, but fact is we won the first two rounds so easily the we were sure we were going to win.

SE became desperate, and then one of them climbed trhu the forbidden area, managing to kill me, letting the left side exposed and i thought to myself "i've seen this movie anywhere :P"
We ended loosing that round, and i said in global that wasnt allowed...Team SE apologized, saying they didnt knew that wasnt allowed. Ppl still dont know it aint allowed to go thru there, so imagine if one of these days, in a final for some competition someone do that...

Anyways, the ended on a 9-3 for PTwars, against a great Sweedish clan, from who we expected to be a hard opponent due to their performances so far. Today we showed, that even with higher pings everyone can still win, u just have to know what u're doing :P

(2006-01-29)
 Map: Mountain Ambush

 Score: PTwars [ 10 - 2 ] sYs.
 Lineup: Blade, Gohan, Debian, merujo

Another Sunday war, and another win, this time on Mountain Ambush.

sYs started on Escort, where in the first round soon they knew it was going to be difficult. In the second round, Debian showed all his skills, when alone against 3 sYs he managed to kill 2 of them, letting the VIP alone in the dark, desperate to take B Obj. without success.

In the following 3 round we did our job, but in the last sYs tried a B attack, catching me going to A when Debian said they were coming B all the way. I went up to help Blade and Debian, but they died in the middle of the battle and i was soon to be dead, letting Gohan to try to eliminate them. He managed so, but only 3 unfortunnetly, and while rushing C to avoid the VIP to take it, sYs won the round.

sYs showed pretty happy with it, saying "1 on escort yeah!"

Ok...

Obviously they thought:

"well now we just have to won the rest...and Amb is the easy part!"

Wrong...

We managed to win 4 rounds on Escort, beating all odds and even a sYs congratulated us saying "good teamwork"

The ability to survive is everything, and when on the second round i was alone near A bridge, trying to climb proned, i asked myself: "rush?"
30 seconds left! Awww the drama!!! He goes!!! And he scores!!!!111 An amazing strickmabill!!11

sYs scored 2 more rounds, and final result 10-2 for us.

MVP: Debian, while making his game and helping others doing theirs, he always played for the whole team. Amazing war.

Lineup [APA]: duast, HibridO, incept!on, madnEss, war-m4st3r
Lineup .ptwars: NIGHTMARE, Sask, Debian, merujo, Gohan (Baía)

Boa sorte apa

Próxima etapa, Tunnel.

Yet another kackmatch

Started on our server, it auth problems, which was solved after several minutes. The next problem was far too complicated....In the last 30 second of setup, GT reminded of complaining about lag...nothing was said along and the war started...

First round GT won, and so far none complained again about lag, but when on the following 5 rounds we started to won, it became very complicated. Always spamming about being unfair and asking to move on to their server...
We were 160, they were 180, we won 5 rounds, and they won 1. Definitly a mind lag problem here.

After so much whining we moved on to their server, so they only could behave a bit.

Two more rounds were played, and both were won by us. In the first round, night crashed, and on the second, Doste solved to get out

Playing 5v6, with worser ping and packetloss, wtf happened ?

Why did we won? Why lag exists? Why cant we just win fair and square?

Shamme on us.

PTwars vs [GMA.]
(2006-01-22)
Map: Weapons Cache SE

Score: PTwars [ 7 - 5 ] [GMA.]
Lineup: Blade, Debian, Gohan, Sask

Facing a clan that needed the 3 points, to be able to continue a "pursuit" for the 2nd "spot" of the Blue Division, we knew that a tough match was going to happen.

We started on Defense and what i can say about it is that we mostly defended objective A and won all the 6 rounds. There were two rounds where we faced a one-to-one situation. On the first Debian took care of it pretty well and on the second Sask taked him down making, therefore, a “hattrick” on that round.

Going to Assault with a score of 6-0 we knew that was going to be hard to win a round, but after two rounds we won the third making a score of 7-2. On that round we rushed to B and C, and near those objectives two of them lost their lives, but two of ours also had the same fate, so there we were, me and Debian against two of them that were defending A. Debian attacked through North and with a quick draw he managed to kill one and almost simultaneously I attack through South and kill the other.
After that we lost the other remaining rounds...
By the way, on the third time that they said that one of them got the “spawn bug” we went up there to see if it was true, but when we got there we saw that all of them could move and had a weapon.... so.....

Final result: 7-5 PTwars

We started on East and lost the first, won the second and then they had the first CE. After that, since the pings in our server got very high, we agreed to play on their server.
After that we lost the third, won the fourth and lost the other two rounds. On break time the result was 2-4 rYu.

Time for the second half on West were we mainly attacked objective B. The first round was lost, followed by a row of 4 rounds for us and the last was lost.
At the end the result was 6-6, so overtime on MOUT McKenna.
We choose Honor and started very well, but failed on the final seconds of the round. Our last guy was killed and we lost it.
Final result was 6-7 rYu.

Detailed information about the upcomming version 2.6 Link-Up posted by Double-T in AAOTracker.

"Dev|AceKilla":
One new server setting should be of interest to the competitive gaming community – we have added a new server option to disable shadows for everyone on the server (exploit fix/workaround). This can also be confirmed via the Tournament Results log for league verification. This is also supported in the v2.6 AASM.

PTwars won the first quarter final of the CB AA Cup with a score of 11-1 in Insurgent Camp

Conclusion:
PTwars apparently has more experience on Insurgent Camp then NSYA. There was reason to speak of an unequal match, but both teams reached the playoffs and that says enough. It can be a Portuguese semi final if Up wins from MmM. Nice goin’ teams!
PTwars for the cup?

Momento emocionante no TS!

Stop!
i net down
he not responding!

E nós: au right...mas....e atão?

Stop!

AU RIGHT!!!!111111

4-2 para nós ao assalto, no ke se antevia ja' ser uma bela war para nós.

Na Defesa foi so continuar o trabalho e facilmente se chegou ao 7-2. Sairam imediatamente do servidor sem piar....

Now the rant of the week! (u gotta love it!)

olha la' o' caca-na-tola....atao mas...e agora?
Kem e' ke sao os "kacks"?

kakakakakakakakakakak!!!!!!!!!!!

PTwars vs [BPC]
(2006-01-15)
Map: HQ Raid

Score: PTwars [ 5 - 7 ] [BPC]
Lineup: Baía, Blade, Debian, merujo

And so for the most important game in the 2nd phase of TWL Intermediate League...

We started on assault and judging by the scrimms we had done we thought that it would be easier for us to get some rounds than on defense. We did the best we could, but it was very hard...[BPC] played very well, and we only managed to win 1 round. We had some interested and disputed rounds, two of them ended with a 1 on 1... but we lost them both. Final score @break: PTwars 1 - 5 [BPC].

Defense time... and all we had in mind was: "now we're doomed". We won the first round, but lost the following 2 (again it ended with another 1on1 final with only 10 seconds left). The winner was found... but since we had to play all rounds we continued. Next 3 rounds were ours making the final score PTwars 5-7 [BPC].

Despite this loss we maintained our 2nd spot on the division due to the [CCMDS] victory over sYs (very good job guys). Hyphen also defeated the “tonis do caralho” from -aRt. (their 1337 member that had joined !n$ TWL roster this week just to face us on Village didn’t play, it’s funny that he isn’t on !n$ roster anymore)…

Congratz to Hyphen and [CCMDS]… and of course, to [BPC] for the gg we had… u showed everyone that u deserve to go through to playoffs

After almost one month of waiting, we finnaly made the match. Due to lack of players, Insidaz decided to delay forever and ever the match, in the hope they could get a new player or two to their roster. They gave the earliest hours they could and we picked one. 7:30 PM in Portugal to be exact, when most of us are still arriveing home from work.

Dispite all this, at the hour of the war only 2 Ins were on the server. Minutes later 2 more came, with a special guest from Art, our good friend, Livewire. A kid that said that PTwars were lamme, childish and dont have the skills to be on the top 10. Obviously we said no. A guy that joined Ins roster today, just because Ins didnt had players....common...be a decent clan, and then, play with us. Forced to play against 4 guys, due to a clan that doesnt have enough active players, there we went.

Easy as it comes, we even laughed doing crazy rushes, letting Ins believe their l337. Omg, even with 4 we managed to win 4 rounds. We are l337n355.

3-3 on Assault, and 5-1 on Defense, we played our game, just be to be sure we took the number one.

Done blamme us, calling us unsportsmanlike, just because u dont have active members. Ok? Make that clear. Im tired of your leetness, when u dont even have enough for a 6v6 war.

Now, rants of the week:

Sorry, we wanted to give u some rounds.

In one sentence, u were wrong two time. Nor u had even 5, nor 6, but 4, and u my friend, didnt came to play.

Now, for the #1, and blame yourself for not having a chance of defending well your position. Ty.

PTwars vs =snBcr=
(2006-01-10)
Map: SF Extraction

Score: PTwars [ 8 - 3 ] =snBcr=

AU RIGHT!
